It makes sense though. Everyone knows that the Turbo S is the fastest version of that Porsche model. So they'll stick with it. Computers had turbo buttons for a long time. I bet you that most non-car people think that turbo just means faster. So it makes perfect sense.

They have a much higher range than stated, around 400-450km. And it has a 5/5 security rating. I dont see your problem🤷🏼‍♂️

@@cat-em3mj Taycan is so slow a family 4 door sedan that outweighs it by 800 lbs out did it on a race track. Just saying. It was poorly built, badly programmed, and has all 3rd party parts that will not last. Enjoy your new car, while it still works. lmao

TheStraightPipes 800$ option here in Norway. Was only mirroring the central screen and making it even more complex to get your head around all the features. My advice is skip it. So was the salesman’s advice.

@@carguyns4348 The Rapide is definitely sexy and maybe the most exotic looking 4 door design, but I like the overall proportions of the Taycan better. 8 series is attractive, but not unique or special enough. Just my opinion.

if you ever get the chance to drive a Tesla model s P90 or P100, the engines naturally make a whining noise like that, and when put in ludicrous mode its even more apparent. I know everyone says that electrics are silent, but they are really not lol

Well EV makers should take advantage of the tuneability of the sound and be creative, but for sports cars I don't think the gasoline engine can ever be beaten in terms of a beautiful, characterful sound

Thanks for posting I love this car, I'm certain that the futuristic sound it makes in s mode will become preferable to gas engine sounds in the long run, it's the future for sure Despite being heavier the Taycun has a low center of gravity I think Taycun is so much of a better product than anything with an engine in it. But this is just my thoughts and feelings about it

People are used to the cheapest electric cars being subpar econoboxes that cost over 30k USD and will never pay itself off compared to an equivalent vehicle. Whether or not manufacturers will take advantage of that and market new EVs around that same price point despite falling battery costs remains to be seen.

Biplab Kumar Ghosh not really a fan of the Tesla’s to be honest. They’re not built very well and the interior is hideous and dead feeling when you set In them.

You can spec the passenger side display screen, it comes standard in our market on Turbo S

I love your enthusiasm and positivity for every car you drive no matter what, from a Toyota Corolla to this.

If there was a Prairie version of your channel, it would be "I'm (x)" "And I'm (x)" "And we're goin fer a fkin rip bud"

Adore the Taycan, my favourite electric car of the moment (Sorry Tesla, fart noises are cool but this does the whole driving thing better)

Constantine Joseph dude, I drive an e Golf with 100-140 mile range and have no issues. The (worst case) 200 mile range of Taycan is fine for me 👍🏻 200 miles could be 4 solid hours of driving at average 50mph, it’s just not a thing that even factors into my thinking with EVs. If you absolutely need to do 300miles non stop then by all means get the Tesla

@@Aaronage1 Where you live which is a rarity, you will have no problems. Most people live in urban areas. I live in Singapore and the road congestion and bumper to bumper traffic means the vehicle efficiency level is going to plummet significantly over open roads and highways or less congested traffic environments. The Tesla comes in as a super car performing EV with the practicality. The Porsche does not deliver that and it is just looks and hype of performance but simply not practical for most drivers.

It's the sportiest and 'best sounding' EV out there so yes It's very good. Now we just need Plaid Model S, Roadster, Rimac C2, Lotus Evija and other exciting EVs
