The people comparing this to the Aztek are the same stupid ones crying for the Eclipse name, is that simple. This SUV will be my next one, currently enjoying my Mitsubishi ASX, almost 7 years without any issues, very reliable vehicle... still driving as new.

Awesome car to drive. Don’t think the back looks stupid at all, my mum has owned one of these for about 6 months now. Super comfy to travel away in and heaps of power for the size

9 haters, you can’t and never will please everyone. Looks good including the rear end. When you look at the ‘crossovers’ in this range the Mitsubishi looks the best and no others can compare on the standard equipment! 👍🏼

Very comprehensive review and you are the best internet reviewer I have watched. All of the important features and equipment were shown. The only thing that I didn't to see (and wish you had shown), was a clip of the car at full throttle.

Yeah, & watch Mitsubishi disappear forever. Nobody buys coupes from mainstream manufacturers in the kind of numbers that would make it profitable. It's called Eclipse because Mitsubishi own the rights to that name, if they don't use it they lose it. Simple as that.

shiva ghose Did you read any of the comments here, other than the first one? Mazda & Fiat are partners to produce the MX5/124. Toyota & Subaru are partners to produce the GT86/BRZ. Even BMW are having to partner up with Toyota to produce their new sports car. Where exactly is Mitsubishi supposed to get this money from to develop a new Eclipse sports car from the ground up for only the North American market? Ignore the Eclipse name, it's not, repeat NOT a replacement for a car that died out because nobody was buying them anymore. This is going to make Mitsubishi money, unlike a low volume coupe.

This, 3008 or Ateca? :P

All these "Pontiac Aztec" comments what year are u ALL talking about? I saw a 2001 & looks NOTHING like Eclipse Cross. Rear lights on Cross go all way across the glass on hatch. On Aztec they are no where near glass "Hatch". Aztec is down right ugly. NOT the case with Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross!

Couldn't they just call this "Mitsubishi Cross"and leave "Eclipse"out of it?
