Years ago my roommate had a TR7 and I had to use it to get to work. The thing didn’t have reverse,so when I punched out to leave work…a few of us had to pick up the rear end,and turn it sideways so I could get out of my parking spot.

MANY of the cars mentioned are from UNITED KINGDOM not USA... Morris Marina, Reliant Robin, Austin Allegro, ALL unavailable in USA. Also, the "F.S.O. POLONEZ" was only available as an import in UK as well not USA. You should change your title...

The Gremlin was a fine car. It was reliable albeit a bit dated. CNN has never been correct in anything that they report on. I wouldn't believe CNN if they reported that they were lying. I remember one staged report where a Pinto was shown bursting into flames before impact. The Mustang II was the right car for the time. If the Mustang II hadn't been built, the model would have been discontinued. The Oldsmobile Diesel was a collosal mistake componded by GM being to cheap to actually supply enough funds to develop the Diesel engine.
