I think you missed the point of why this was torment’s best goal. Torment is probably one of my favorite players to watch. He is ALWAYS in the right spot on the field. That’s what makes him probably one of the best 3 defenders in the game and the best cleanup guy hands down. He doesn’t do fancy but he’s all around the most solid player.

(keep in mind that this is an arbitrary list since there is no real way to rank such players)

A chance to tie the game 7 of Worlds on a zero second goal to send the game to overtime is pretty much the most intense, high pressure situation you can be in, yet he nailed the shot. I don't even like NRG, but that goal was freaking incredible

Ranking players is difficult because everyone will kinda disagree, but with RL everyone is so tight you could acceptably place anyone anywhere so it worked out. This video also serves as a good way to introduce new people to the top players.

i went to rlcs season seven in newark, and oh my gig was it so amazing to see some of these guys play in person, i don't think i could ever achieve this level of play, but i can sure as hell try

Rocket league gives me the same feeling sports gave me growing up. You get out what you put in. I hope one day I can compete in RLCS. One can dream.

I remember back when Cosmic Aftershock with Kronovi, Gibbs and Sadjunior were considered a top 3 team, and i think Flipside was the best at the time with Markydooda, Kuxir97 and Mik3rules. Every game they had was a treat, then Gibbs and Sad left and Kronovi got paired up with Laichinio and Gambit for IBP, then Over_Zero instead of Gambit and his beautiful goal in RLCS 1. Those were good days.

But this video doesnt make much sense, some players it feels like he ranked based on RLCS, lifetime achievements, or actually in the moment. If were going off what were seeing right now, Chausette is number 1 to me

I think that's the third time I watch this video, Sunless, you gotta do an update video, probably after the end of the season, a video updating the position of the players in your opinion. After 7 months, my obivious choices to update in my opinion are: Aztral, Flakes and Ronanky, they gotta be higher in the new list. And Turbopolsa gotta be a top5, the guy is a monster. And C9 players would be a little lower on my list, even though I'm not sure if they are performing less individually or as a team...

And I can't believe that Turbopolsa was "so far down" on your list and personally I also would rank Kuxir much higher (fanboy coming through) but still a nice list, and really hard to rank the Top20... although the #1 was really obvious :) But you definitely forgot Yukeo :/

You should do a series where you coach me. I’m like a plat 2/3 player. I’ve made diamond and dropped off a few times. This could be some sort of series where you can really show what you Florida over the years and what you would’ve done differently if you were back at my rank. You can show my progression over episode to episode

For me Devo's best is the first goal you showed from him. To jump off the back wall like that, upside down, and get that perfect shot under the crossbar is just nuts to me, and will always be one of my favorite goals ever. I feel like Gimmick is STILL underrated, despite showing over and over again how good he is. I'd personally put Chausette in the top 5, but #6 is close enough =P And yeah...Kaydop is a monster.

My favourite thing about Squishy's goal is that they didn't even win that game, or a single game after in the series, like it woke Method up to what they were facing.

Mikaelious. SF The timeline doesnt matter. Violent Panda has always been a top 10 player. He is not mechanically the best but his game sense is out of this world.

I really think you should do a "Top 10 Most Influental Rocket League Players" because there are so many names out there that need recognition and really made the game for me. For example there are: Sting, he is a player who is not that known, but he was and is one of if not the best player (mechanical wise) in the world. I would suggest to look up the rocket league fx montage "Pushing the Limits" about sting. it was uploaded about 2,5 years ago and back then it opened my eyes and showed me how good you can be at this game. And even today only few people can beat his mechanics from 2017. And I believe he was the first person to ever hit a flip reset (correct me if i am wrong). He is easily number one for me. SquishyMuffinz, he influented the pro scene so much and showed the world what you can achieve and how much mechanics matter in this game, even in the pro scene. Jhzer, he is probably the most memorable freestyler of all time. He is one of the biggest reasons I started to play Rocket League and I believe he is for many other people aswell. He invented the ceiling shot which is probably the most influental mechanic ever. I believe that he is the biggest rocket league (almost only) youtuber. These were only a few names and there are many other. I hope you see this Sunny. Have a nice day!

Chaussette and Alpha deserved to be placed higher i think. Their recent plays and mechanics are incredible.

Enjoyed the video and liked the way it was edited and created. Personally for me kaydop is the best in the world with justin behind him, chaussette has to be 3rd for me and turbopulsa makes top five along with scrub who gets in purely for his impact in rlcs season seven. I understand was probably more for showcasing iconic pro goals without just being a crappy twitch clips compilation, but the actual ranking of players is pretty dire, especially for a "right now" list. Examples: AyyJayy only an honorable mention. Turbopolsa only #9 despite actually making NRG winners. Scrubkilla being the lowest Vitality player. Chausette only #6. JSTN the highest NRG player despite being the weakest on LAN. and many more, still a cool video, but if the order is actually serious its not a good list at all

You can't make a ranking based on "right now" because RL pro's are too inconsistent. If you look at the last year as a whole, which it's pretty clear what Sunless did, it's pretty fair. Yes Turbo won a recent LAN, but he played terribly with Dignitas some months ago. Scrub Killa had a good RLCS League play and final, but hasn't really showed up for any other tournament. Chausette has had to monstrous perfomances back to back, but before that he has been a lot tamer in the prior tournaments and RLCS. JSTN has had a couple of weak LAN's, but online he's been a monster, and he had a good Summit. AyyJayy is definitely a fair case to make, but it seems like he took team results from recent tournaments into consideration, and in that case it makes more sense. I don't necessarily agree with every pick on the list, but it's definitely not as terrible as you claim. There's a lot of ways to judge the best players, and while some people think it's best to just look one or two recent tournaments, others prefer to look at an entire year or even an entire career. Really no "right" way to do it

Might as well add gyro to that list after dreamhack LOL

All this taught is us that the best rlcs moments came from england, so this is a definite sign that rlcs worlds needs to come back

List still valid in 2021, Kaydop is better than Jstn.
