5:16 the key is not actually used, there is a touched triggered toggle trigger on the same place as the key, and the hitboxes of the key and the trigger are just slightly different

the second time u beat deadlocked: u got the coin because the deadlocked key uses a key and a move trigger that opens the coin route, your hitbox hit the move trigger but not the key.

5:18 this happened to me a bit but what happens is that you are very close to the Hitbox of the key but did not touch it making it not do it’s collected animation but you are so close to the Hitbox of the key that you collided with the Hitbox of the toggle trigger which then opens the coin path

5:15 that's because theres a touch triggered toggle trigger on the key, and you hit the trigger and not the key. That's how keys were meant to work back then (I think)

know why you didnt get the key and the coin was there? well, robtop used a toggle trigger on the key, or maybe toggle/pickup options didnt exist yet there. or if you want multiple triggers, you can make these triggers appear after you get the key, so its guaranteed to be accurate hitbox, also i probably will do that later in my life, sorry for writing an essay.
