They were surprisingly easy to open. As apposed to if you buy headphones now a days, you need to use high grade explosives and a chainsaw to open the plastic that they come in. Ah, simpler times!

As the average IQ of the population has risen in the past 30 years due to the Flynn effect, they therefore needed to increase the difficulty of the task. If BK customers are representative is a different question

GameAddict51 Well for commercials and pictures they actually use special make ups and such to make the food look extra delicious. Every single commercial you ever watch will have the fakes. That's why you see a juicy burger on a commercial and come to the same place only to receive something dried out. For cereal I remember they use glue so the cereal stays on top of the "milk" due to the glues thickness instead of sinking down like cereal does in real life.

It takes too long to make the burgers look good and the point of fast food is, well, to get it fast. You can, however, ask for a better burger if you're not satisfied with it. Depending on your country, they may or may not have the right to say no, but most likely they will make you a new burger. BLOODY_FATALITY is also correct. Most of the pictures are photoshopped and made differently than a regular burger. There's even a youtube video about it where they make one of those burger pictures for mcdonalds. It’s a radio so it picks up radio signals. The signals beamed in the 80s have long since dissipated into space and contribute to earth’s radio sphere. However, the signals generated today have are brand new and are picked up by radios all over the world. So LGR isn’t so dumb to think this. However I’m not sure how this only plays 80s music unless LGR accidentally tuned in to only 80s radio stations

It is amazing to me that you sat in the drive through for 2 single whoppers knowing full well you were gonna slap them against your head. Ahh i love your videos so much.

Every time I see the old foam and bent steel/plastic headphones, I'm reminded just how thankful I am that velour, pleather and silicone took over even on the low-end around the mid-aughts. Good lord did those things hurt after a while.

Lol I don't buy new phones all the time but I can feel your pain as my phone is pretty old and the headphone jack isn't working the best and it bugs the hell out of me.

This is just one of those awesome things you can only find on your channel :D I love it!

Say what you want about the quality of the headphones, but the package was brilliant. Actually openable without using japanese sword/flamethrower/chainsaw and hurting your hands, not like modern thief-resistant blister-type packages. Like come on, if you need a knife to open a knife/scissors package then something's wrong:D

I bought replacement saw blades, and on the end of the package were dots, so I poked my thumb trough them.... and directly to the new, sharp saw blades... Brilliant packaging, really.

Grate video, like always.

Going to need you to send me a pair of those. They could really make my mixes sound...delicious...Ok that's enough dad jokes for the day.

I made a joke referencing these at work today and my co-worker thought I meant something else till I showed him the pics.

I'm sitting at home, watching a review on burger headphones and I'm enjoying it. Damn it LGR what have you done to me.

Sitting here, just minding my own business... Just watching somewhat zoned in while also glancing at my phone, then I hear it at 5:05... and I literally make the same slow rotation and smile right back to the screen. Perfect timing. Laughed, loved it. :3

Pick _any_ fast food franchise under the sun and you'll find both people who love it and people who hate it.

very true!!!.i couldn't believe how awful beats really sounded when i tried some....i have a pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones that cost me £30 as my everyday set (about $24 us) and they sound INFINITELY better...you don't need to spend the earth do get decent sounding cans!!!

80's and 90's I remember there being a fad for novelty radios. I had a radio shaped like a fruit pastille iced lolly years ago. This video reminded me of that and made me do a search for one on ebay. That search brought up a whole world of radio's either shaped like branded items or advertising certain companies! Amazing.

Yes. I time travel with a machine called Adobe Photoshop.

I would use these to listen to the local football team post-game broadcast. Even though I prefer CDs in my vehicle to the radio, and love LPs at home, I still get an appreciation for the local FM and AM stations.

I had these! I loved the headphones, as they looked cool and sound was good enough for me ... I did appreciate the belt clip. The war pieces did get a bit of a pain on the ears, like you said. I would take this radio and headphones around town, listening to a commercially run AM classical station pretty much all the time (I was a bit of a strange little girl) which I remember foundly. Unlike the non-profit FM classical station that is our only classical fix on the local airwaves (broadcasting from Sac State, but run by NPR) there was no news or commentary that I can recall. Just music ... and commercials ... which was rather apt, given the tech I was using to listen to them. Anyway, thanks for the review ... it brings back found memories. Oh, and the food was good back then ... better basic burgers than McDonald's... but I always preferred sesame or kaiser buns to what McDonald's used. Unfortunately, there really wasn't an equivalent to Happy Meal toys until the 90s, if I recall right... just the cardboard crowns, which you can still get.

I first thought the radio was IN the headphones, but I guess that's a bit to high-tech for the 80s.

I love the picture of the old BK on the back. Thats the type of BK building I remember growing up. In fact here in Kalamazoo we still have one like that. Up until a few years ago we had two, but they tore down the most historic one. The one that Elvis was first spotted at after his death. Seriously. Look it up. One of the first post-mortem Elvis sightings was in a Kalamazoo Burger King. I was sad to see it demolished.

A friend of mine actually had these when I was a kid... Have not thought about them existing since I was like 6. Oh the memories.
