Great house! Look at all of that room! My husband and I both worked from home in our house. We worked in separate rooms but had a "date" every day for lunch. We'd usually watch something recorded for about an hour while we ate. It worked for us. It got us away from our desks and endless emails and texts.

That's such a good idea! We're definitely adjusting to being in different parts of the house all day, but making lunch an official get-together time is a great idea (and a good way to get us to eat lunch at a normal time too!)

Your peephole door is actually a speakeasy door. That is where visitors would say the password to gain entrance. Super cool!

I'm watching this video for the first time on 7/21/2023. I feel sad for you because you had to move again so soon, based on the title of the video you released today (and comments in recent videos). Past you was so excited about not having to move again! I'm sorry :(

What a great house! Having grown up in San Diego county, your home (prior to the addition) is what we called a California bungalow. Love the cove ceilings and arched doorways. So classic for a 20's home. Enjoy your new space!!

Thank you! I love the term bungalow, but I never knew quite what it meant... I will definitely be referring to this home as a bungalow from now on!

Sigh…. This one just appeared in my feed and I thought it was new, aka mid-2023, so I could be impressed that you found a new home so fast….❤

It's odd watching this knowing that you are moving again soon. It's such an interesting house, but I hope you find a new one with a Jacuzzi you can actually use.

It is weird watching videos out of sequence. I watched another of your videos a short time ago then KZread recommended this one. Well, I'm here from the future to suggest that you temper your expectations. @2:59, is that trailer a joke? that is twice what my mortgage was (well, 20 years ago and most certainly not in LA but still...twice!)

The little area with the tiny sink is called the butlers pantry! You’d better run out and find a butler.

Sooo cute 💖 What a great house. Are you going to decorate the walls with your embroidery pieces? Would love to see your Beauty & the Beast piece framed. 💕 Gorgeous, either way, can't wait to see what you guys decide to do. 😀👍🌺

It blows my mind when people in the US say a house from the 1920s is old. I mean, I know it's technically true, but UK standards are just so different

It blows my mind when people in the UK say that a drive of 2 hours is just so far. Had a co-worker who said he only saw his family 2 or 3 times a year because they lived far away. It was a 1.5 hour drive. I mean, I know that technically it is a long drive, but US standards are just so different.

@@mamamack4604in my part of the US, there are people who commute 1.5 hours one way every day! That's getting to another country in Europe 😅
