I finished your Udemy course "Drawing and Painting on the iPad with Procreate" and just began your "How to Draw Cartoon Characters." I just wanted to say I enjoy your teaching style and I appreciate the content that you're creating. Please, keep up the excellent work!

Just got the course. Most tutorials are boring and hard to focus but I love your charisma so I know I can trust you!
Great Video! My animation teacher, Joe Merdith (Trouble Stuble, Trix and Lucky Charms), showed us these same principals. He would always hype the kids up by showing us the short "Prelude to Eden" and my God that hand animated short looked so awesome!!! It carries over all the principals you talk about and knocks them all out the park with a straight forward story. Best example of how animation works for any beginner - "Prelude to Eden"
This helps so much! I’m working on an animation and have really been able to add to my animation with your video!
All of your presentations are full of energy but I can tell this topic is something you are passionate about. Thank you, Mr Brad!
I think you‘re giving a great an easy overview to the twelve priciples of Animation but also making some quite beginner mistakes. So everybody interessted into this... dig a little deeper there is so much more to this!
As someone who is new to animating on Procreate, this is EXTREMELY helpful and informative!!
I know you specialize in tech reviews but I'd love to see more videos like this more often such as how-tos and the art side of things. Keep up the good work.
Awesome video. Will be sharing with my son who is starting to create his own animations in procreate and Flipaclip

Hey Brad, I’m lovin’ how you’re doing these videos. Outstanding, man!
You make animation look so easy on procreate! Definitely using the simple ones for my cat and plant art. I already use procreate for my art!

I love your videos Brad! I learn a lot from them!
I can't believe this is free like damnnnn!!! This guy give us free lessons about everything you need to know about art and animation in a verry clear way!! He is a true LEGEND 🔥
I made my first animation on Procreate at the start of this year. I'm proud to say that the movie i did the animations for has been nominated for 4 awards so far. I'm an illustrator not an animator yet. Great program! Super easy to use and great features! Now i gotta back it up with my second one!!!

This is brilliant. Every second is useful, every tip amazing.
Hey, thank you for creating this video, it was super helpful for learning the animation principles! I wish you a wonderful day!
Loved this! I'm new to both procreate and animation and this is a great way to be introduced to it! Thank you!
I have a question about anticipation (#2) which also applies to squash and stretch (#3). Is it important to keep the volume of the object the same throughout animation? I just noticed in 5:25 that the volume of the ball is much larger than it’s original size.
Wow your videos are amazing! You deserve much more subscribers! Thanks for this!
I love your videos because they are super informative and really high quality
Wow.. gonna make animation after saw your video. Thank you for the tips!!
Way to go man! Real nice explanation.
Hi, can you maybe tell us about good palm rejection gloves? Having trouble finding a good one.
Thanks for the video! Great content, well explained, and very inspiring.
Very helpful straight forward teaching style thanks love you
Love your set up
This video was amazing I use procreate pocket and am a beginner animator. You should make a video of all the features. Like how to copy a drawing on one frame and paste it on another

Try to utilize squash and stretch when killing off these characters, it makes it fun and visually appealing for the audience.

thanks Brad I just got my iPad pro and I wanna learn animation on procreate
Are there any good vector animation apps for ipad pro? I want a vector brush/tool to draw to create the animations?
Very good, quality videos! New subscriber here 😁 i'll wait for your reviews on the next Surface and iPad before purchasing any, as the latest ones don't convince me
Was so psyched when I got the email notifocation from Udemy. Immediately bought. Love your YT and courses, Brad!

Awesome! Thank you!
procreate can make 2 or 3 animation timeline and run in same time? I wanna make background and foreground have a movement.
These are all principles of classic animation (and as well put and said, perfected by Disney over decades of animated films). Procreate doesn't improve upon any of these per se, but as far as easy-to-use animation-enabling software goes, it scores very high on getting results fast and with minimum fuss. I tried classic animation eons ago and now I've been experimenting with hand drawn animation cycles in Procreate. It's fun.
Just grabbing my iPad to practice animation on Procreate... then BANG! 💥 I'm here 😯
brad, it's the best video you've ever created!!
Thank you for the tutorial.. you are great at teaching.
Brad, can you make a video about Animation Pro? There are no videos online about it, just the tutorials. I really want to get it because of the tweening, lip syncing and rigging. However, there are no tutorials on rigging your own character. The only tutorials provided use their art or it explains how to modify their pre-made characters. I would love to know if I can move around and rig my own art, either-wise the app is pointless. Thanks Brad! Love your videos!
Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations brad ! Finally we reached the 300k subs ✨🖤🌚

Great video!!
Love this!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
Me and my sons loved this!
Which is more protective screen laminated or non laminated
Very good tutorial. I will practice this.
I made a ball bouncing anination on procreate to practice but when i export it as a gif... only when i export it in a web ready quality... it plays smoothly. But the quality gets so much worse... when i export it in maximum quality...it looks like it is skipping 4 5 frames and jumping ... when i try to export it in mp4 format..i cannot save it to photos but has to save it to the files ... but when i do that... only the file appears but when i open it its like empty or readonly file... what is happening?. help
Hi Brad. I would like to buy this course on animation but your discount code isn’t valid anymore. Would it be possible to still get one that would work for me? Thanks!
Could you paste the same image over and over and use liquify ?
Squash and stretch in principle 2 makes the ball look like a flubber-like jelly creature jumping between two walls and I love it
Can we zoom out in procreate animation?
can i make multiple layer per frame?
Is there a limit to how long the animation is?
Brad, can you make one animated story 100% using procreate about 2 - 3 minutes with background like you did using Adobe animate.? Because I couldn't find any channel making animated story just using procreate.
Is ipad mini 5 good enough for art??
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
It’s 12:12 & I’m watching 12 principles of animation lol

What'd be amazing is having layers to use in animation on procreate. Stacking them.
*Starts waving up and down at strangers* massive game changer for making people confused or uncomfortable >:)
i still want to learn procreate. but is it worth it in ipad 7th 32gb ? i dont wanna running out of memory 😭

It runs really well on the 7th gen. As far as space, yeah you'll definitely have to back up and delete stuff every so often.
Superbly explained and in a nutshell. You get a very good overview. I have the book The Animator's Survival Kit at home and will use it to read up on it in more detail. Thank you, you've made me really want to do animation again.
Very helpful video's, could you review the Huion Inspiroy Dial?

He :When you spent whole life promoting skill share .... Me : finally got 2months free .... He: new course on udemy!!!!!!
Hey I’ve just bought a plant like that 👌
Hi big fan
I make KZread videos and the most of Them is made with Procreate its a little hard at the start but it became Easy very fast
cool video
12:07 Note that the character or whatever doesn't have to be "likeable" to be appealing. It just means you should WANT to see that character. Even a very evil character (like Maleficent, or Cruella De Vil), or an ugly character (like the old hag in Snow White or Quasimodo from Hunchback of Notre Dame) can have appeal--it's just that there has to be audience connection. Part of that is through the design and appearance, part of that is through the animation. That's what they mean when they say "appeal"; it's more like "stage presence" or "charisma".
Brad Colbow: go to Udemy and sign up Me: yeah um I already have it and to your class
There is one principle you may have overlooked: The Plausible Impossible - the rule in which something that would seem impossible in the real world is plausible in the cartoon world(such as feeling squashed when the elevator stops or eating a feast for four by yourself, or more famously, only falling from stepping off the cliff when you realize you're not on the cliff).
Could you please review the brand new Chuwi Hi 10X? I think it's worth to have as a budget table with laminated screen
Hey brad...make a video on how to earn money online as an artists.
