The 100 explained - Who are the Primes?

We've met most of the primes, but there are still a lot of questions about them. This video is part video essay part explainer. I throw out some theories and attempt to explain the Primes of Sanctum. Who are they? What are they about? And what's their history? What is naming day? Including little things you may have missed about the primes .Most of this video is based on information we have from The 100 s06e01 to s06e05. I’m really enjoying this season of The !00, it’s great that the show has gone back to its sci-fi roots. Our heroes, Clarke, Belamy, Murphy, Raven, and the others thought this planet would be best suited to them, but some people are about to die for sure. Although, Sanctum’s society doesn’t know the trouble they got themselves into.
I expect We'll get more information on the primes , the mind drives aka the flame 2.0 or 3.0 and nightbloods, and when that happens I'll make a finale explainer video on them.

Out of every piece of media I have ever watched or read, this season of the 100 got me in a place that changed the way I view life.

Can someone explain how the primes ended up with the mind drive and night blood research. Didn't Becca take all to earth when she escaped and Polaris destroyed? Seasons 6 and 7 require a user guide to figure it all out.

It’s disgusting how they used 46 people before they succeeded with Josephine
So all the people who have the chip in their heads on Sanctum would be considered multiple commanders with the grounders?

No, commanders have the flame, the people in Sanctum just bear the same symbol as the flame, but it's a memory drive

@@nychick1023 It's actually the exact same thing right ? But the grounders don't use it the same way the Primes do, they don't erase the person's mind before putting the memory drive in so the host is still the conscious part, the former commanders are just a part of them.

The drives in sanctum were reverse-engineered by Gabriel and Russell to not only store the minds of the original host but also upload that mind into a new host. The flame just stores the minds of the past commanders just how Becca had intended it to be. Although Sheidheda suppressed all the old commanders and uploaded his mind into Russells which still confuses me.

@@Salmiyaguy1 becca developed the mind drives and night blood before the primes left earth on their mission. It is kinda confusing because the flashback episode made it look like she had made the mind drives and the night blood on polaris while the earth was getting destroyed but that's not possible considering eligius 3 left earth 7 years before it was destroyed.
Si right now there are only 4 memory drives right ? Russell (Sheidheda), Ryker (I believe Jordan took his drive from Priya's corpse) and John and Emori who took Daniel and Kaylee's drives ?

Damon Zaballero They took Clarke’s drive out, Gabriel has Josephine’s blank drive now (maybe he destroyed it I don’t remember)

Arnaud Rivière Gabriel removed Josephines blank drive and when she returned to sanctum pretending to be Josephine she said something along the lines of “I hate being mortal, I think it’s time for my new drive”. The scene then cuts to Russel implanting the new drive in Clarke’s head. It’s also the scene where she sees Maddie for the first time while they are extracting her marrow.

Where do the other people on Sanctum come from? Not the families but the others who are used?
Caleb is not delusional at all. If Caleb is delusional then what are the 100? They have far away more blood in their hands for nothing ,using the same excuse with the primers ,they do everything for their people..

Sorry I know this is a year later, but when they arrived on Sanctum, they brought embryos from Earth and the people of Sanctum are descendants of those embryos.
