    Just a minute, the postrace shouting match from Jeff and Tony was from 2000 at Watkins Glen because Jeff was wearing his Rainbow Suit. 2001 was when he had the flames scheme.

    My late father was a Rudd fan through and through. Whenever the Wilkesboro incident would come up, he'd blast Earnhardt for his comments, because of how many times he'd done the same to others.

    my favorite is the Kevin Harvick - Greg Biffle. It was awesome. Even from the start when Harvick said, Greg Biffle is a good guy, BUT..................haha.

    Ricky Rudd really was the man. Drove like a crazy man, and in the late 70's, he was one of the best. Probably my favorite driver.

    The old days of NASCAR can't compare with todays drivers and their COT "stock cars". Those "Golden Years" were some of the best races and some of the most horrific crashes. I watched Indy and NASCAR back as a teen and those sounds were what got the juices flowing. Now-a-days Stock Car racing like NFL football has changed for the safety of those involved I will still watch them both but always savor the past memories.

    I heard the races back in the 70s in Darlington where one of the most horrific. There was footage of Richard Petty crashed into a wall and flipped over.

    This whole NASCAR subculture fascinates me. Can't imagine sitting thru a race but these highlight video's are entertaining. Cheap women, too much beer and never finishing the 10th grade does not necessarily mean one will fail in life. Wow.

    The clip of Gordon and Stewart "arguing" at the trailers came from 2000 at Watkins Glen, not the Bristol race. If you look closely, you can see a NASCAR2000 decal on one of the cars.

    I've seen this before on Speed but I can't get enough of it. great stuff and thanks for posting it. :) one thing tho...did you really have to include the EAS test during that last commercial break? :) Just about blasted my ears out. it's all good tho.

    This was one of my very favorite shows until Fox Sports 1 killed the speed channel. They took this show off the air so they can air English small town soccer. I NEVER watch that ESPN wanna be unless Nascar is on.

    I like when they talk about NASCAR drivers (or racing drivers in general) like they are some big tough guys that you wouldn't want to mess with. They're in great shape and all, but they aren't very big people and probably don't know how to fight worth a hoot.

    On #10, they used the wrong footage and did not recap the Bristol incident between Gordon and Stewart correctly. The footage where they parked right next to each other and fought was from Watkins Glen the year before where Stewart took Gordon out early in the race.
