This vid made me realise that the monster design in BB doesn’t quite get the praise it probably deserves. For me, it is THE prime example of gothic alien life forms done well

U have to give it to designers of these bosses , crazy imagination & creativity go into making these

I still remember the first time i fought ludwig. Man.... Bloodborne is my favourite FROMSOFWARE game, and one of my favourites of all time

I will never forget when i played Elden Ring for first time, peacefully exploring Liurnia of the lakes, and then Deathbird droped on my face out of nowhere...

When i first met Astel i was sick with covid and the fever so i legit thought i was having a fever dream

The Headless from Sekiro is the only boss from the whole soulsborne universe that after more that a 1000 hours combined I’m still afraid to fight.

I fought the one in Senpou Temple, which took me quite a courage to attempt, and just running off from others since, my initial fear didn't remain much but they still hella annoying. Terror is a bs status, added with it being unblockable, not being able to damage without Divine Confetti, you cannot sidestep or run throughout the fight, and he keeps teleporting and trying to pull your bowels, just too much.

The ones under water to me are the scariest, the way their hair is just floating there.

Oprhan of Kos' scream is enough to give players a little bit of fear the first time they fight it.

First few times I fought Astel it actually gave me a extremely unsettling feeling

Orphan of Kos, Demon of Song, Manus FOTA?!? Let's also not forget the Lion Dancer from Elden Ring’s SOTE trailer??? So much scarier than half the selected bosses in this list.

oh, yes

I know a lot of people probably haven't fought her, but Queen Yharnam was very disturbing to me. Truly messed up considering the lore.

Nothing still gives me more anxiety than the great serpent from sekiro. My god the whole process of hiding and standing still while this giant creature lurks around and above you makes my heart beat so fast...

I gotta admit the first time i fought blood starved beast in bloodborne gave me some serious fking anxiety...

The corrupted monk from sekiro was also creepy, especially when she does the little laugh

The great serpent put the fear of god in me

The boss who have unpredictable attack pattern is what scares 😱 me...not by looks

I know it's not a boss, those hand monsters in Elden Ring scare me I never went back after completing mission

Soilder of Godrick is the scariest

A good chunk of the ones mentioned definitely make the list, but I do think Darkbeast Paarl is worth noting. It’s creepy design and it’s movements always gave me the chills. I’d put the Demon Prince’s or even High Lord Wolnir over Aldrich.

I really like Astel design. He was my favorite boss during first playthrough. And I like to see people's jumpscare reactions when he does a teleport grab😁 4:17 and no, this is what happens when Miyazaki smokes too much weed.

I miss my big mouth dude, Gapping Dragon. Not The scariest, but he is a creep one.

The boss fights that scare me the most are mostly from Bloodborne.

I always hated the dukes dear fraeta, first time i came to her/it i was badly overleveled, when I came back though with a mage character that used a rapier I realized she was a damage check boss, ended up knocking both of her heads off. first encounter I never knew her head can come off, or if you did you softlock yourself.

1.ofcourse the iconic TOGHETA from Rykard 2. I saw Astel once as a grownup Version of the orphan

If we're including other soulslike series, there would be Walker Of Illusions and Nameless puppet.

tbf, Guardian Ape's frantic phase actually makes it already scary and him rising up from the dead in his second phase is just the icing on the cake especially seeing it first time. every Sekiro players know that.

The worst boss on bloodborne is martyre in level 122 and still can't beat him and even Ludwig
