It's not a challenge by any means, all you're doing is using mods/cheats to spawn inside the kiln and whatever other areas are needed and removing the forced progression to NG+ A challenge would be something most people can't do, this is not remotely impossible 😂😂

​@@vallarfaxgamingI mean, no offense, but going by reviews and achievement percentages, I'm not entirely sure most human beings can even beat Datk Souls... like... have you ever looked at the percentage of people who own a game have aquire which achievements? Dark Souls, despite I'd claim having a Cult following is still extremely low in early game completion by comparison to other games. Like I said, it has a bit of a Cult following tho, so it's absurdly high in 100% completion achievements even considering its RPG status, who him pretty sure is one of THE kinds of games people might actually decide to 100%.

​@@vallarfaxgamingi calculated that from a stat that 54k people bought dsr digitally and on steam the all achievements achievement is 6% So 3240 people got all achievements and thats just the base game Imagine playing the game completely backwards and imagine how many are able to do that Its a hard challenge

There are plenty of tutorials for them in the desc. Some of them are not worth the time for me to make a tutorial around. Saying not much is known about the grab is not just me, but other speedrunners more knowledgeable than me.

Kiln of the First Flame and Firelink Altar are the same map, m18_00_00_00. After I warped back to the Shrine bonfire if I went back to m18_00_00_00 the cutscene would play forcing me into new game. Most of it is an educated guess, but if you are in anywhere in m18_00_00_00 outside Gwyn’s arena the dark lord ending plays. Sorry for being specific about the map. There is a m18_01_00_00 which is the Northern Undead Asylum.

I'm pretty sure it's so the game lasts the entire year which is on its box so you don't end up buying a 2023 game in like late November (also it probably just sounds better to the marketing team lol) cars do the same thing!

There is one good reason to not do the DLC like this - Manus, Father of the Abyss. The point of the run is defeated because of 3 necessary bosses to get to him, which makes it the entire DLC.

The only skip I know for that dlc is the PCC wrong warp that skips the first two bosses, but ya that DLC is messy for this run.
