I think Roshes deserve a spot somewhere on this list. At one point you couldn't leave the house without seeing a few pairs and they introduced many people into the sneaker world.

Most of these sneakers aren’t iconic, they’re just the most hyped

Actually, we see this marketing strategy in other industries, such as the microbrew industry. My brothers drink beer, so I occasionally visit craft breweries with them. For example, Altamont Beer Works (CA) will sell a limited-release specialty beer for a limited period of time, say the Mac Drizzle IPA. The product is a limited release, in the sense that it's available for a limited time. But "limited releases" occur frequently because the manufacturer (in this case Altamont Beer Works) will soon come out with more "limited releases", such as the "Scarcity" Triple IPA. We see fast-food chains do this, too. It's a strategic way to expand a firm's product line, while generating anticipation and demand for a given product.

Unpopular opinion but the Nike Tom Sacks Mars Yard 2.0 are one of the most fire sneakers to come out in the last 10 years, so easy to style and timeless

nicolas meza space jams, cool greys, and concords got the whole hype train rolling and then galaxy foams blew it to epic proportions. A lot of recency bias in this vid, in decade videos in general. Jordans and nike basketball dominated the market until around 2014 where the trend shifted towards runners.

Why is the Dior 1s in the thumbnail when it's a 2020 release?

I very much enjoyed how people went from being upset over the initial scarcity of Yeezy's despite Kanye's words otherwise, and then people were upset yet again and proclaimed them "dead" when they saw more releases and became oversaturated.

Except the Stan Smiths have been around forever, they haven't really changed significantly this decade to warrant a place on the list IMO.
