Gays tend to be educated, skilled or professional, and wealthier than their straight counterparts. Wealthy, educated, wealthy people tend to gravitate toward the coasts....and BLUE states.

TEXAS is 8.6 but most of them are in the closet.

Bobby Knight I live in Los Angeles I was born and raised here and I love it here and yeah it’s expensive but it’s worth it in my opinion it’s beautiful here. Las Vegas isn’t really nice to me neither is Orlando I love visiting Orlando thoe I juss wouldn’t live there! 😭 and about the natural disasters you get used to it lol whenever there is any earthquake most locals don’t care and carry on with their day what isn’t really good are mudslides I hate those but they don’t happen often since SoCal doesn’t get much rain

Find some new friends / places to hang out - not necessarily easy I know but you aren't alone in this at all. It can take some effort and trial and error but you should be able to find a community that works for you.

Florida has a lot of gays but a lot of them will be migrating elsewhere because of the backwardness that DeSantis is promoting. For example he’s discouraging tech companies from relocating because their workers are highly educated and therefore very likely to vote Democrat. Florida’s on a backward trajectory.

Ok. A lot of people would taste the rainbow every now and then, and they still don't self identify as lgbt.

Did watch this so I could figure out where is the best place for me to be gay and live? Yes, yes I did.

"Gayest states" wouldn't include Indiana, but my experience is that Indianapolis and Bloomington are *incredibly* gay-accepting. I don't feel anywhere near as intimidated being gay in Indianapolis as I did in supposedly-liberal Austin. It is (happily) a non-issue here.

The problem with stats like these are that it's based on self reporting. I'm sure if there was a way to figure out the number of closeted gay people in each state, the percentages would be much closer. After all, it's much easier being gay in Vermont than in Tennessee.

@@thelongway93 Sure, Miami can be a blast. It can also be dangerous so stay in the crowded tourist areas. If I were you I would try to get up to Broward county and stay in Wilton Manors for a few days near Wilton Drive. It's like the second gayest city in the United States. You won't regret it.

I totally enjoyed this I came out in Delaware live there for a year and I went to Maine and lived in Portland Maine for 10 years had the best time of my life in Portland, Maine I was a house DJ at the underground in Portland from 2000-2003

the rest of Washington wishes. actually many states are trying to break off from the psycho murderer areas. im pretty sure one was washington? i know cali for sure has discussed it for many years; an i wanna say portland; but im pretty sure it was Washington wanting to break up with them as well. theyll probably have to give up south cali (la etc) to mexico at some point. but i assume that will be thru a war cause thr port loss would be devastating

I am about an hour from where I grew up in Toronto, Canada and I can tell you that there is a HUGE Gay population there! In all probability within the top 4-5 in North America. :)

The round number of homosexuals is about 10% in any population. What the census tells us is the % of people who are comfortable enough to say it.
