i used to be sad when I couldn't read a lot in a month, and I used to be jealous when people would read 15+ books, but I realised that reading is not a competition and thank you haley for normalizing that ❤❤❤

I get that! but you also have to remember for a lot of these booktubers, reading is their job! whereas most people have 9-5 jobs or school - it’s easy to compare but give yourself grace and know that majority of the time, everyone has different circumstances :)

I have some of these books on my TBR to read in May. I just need to make my TBR video, I love how you read a lot of new release this month. I normally wait to read them when the hype dies down a little to read them. Great reading month

I love your vids Haley, they got me back into reading. I have been reading a series and I think you would love them too. The series is the Christy Miller series by Robin Jones Gunn. It has more series that are connected to them but the place to start is definitely the Christy Miller series.

I’m currently reading Keeping 13. I think the characters are so well done in both books. I don’t usually cry during books but Binding and Keeping 13 are so emotional that I find myself crying much more than I expected. I have 75 pages left in Keeping 13, and my goodness you should definitely read it. It takes a wild twist that I didn’t expect. I actually said OH MY GOSH out loud in public which I have never done in my entire life!!

I love Haley so much! Haley got me back into reading! Maybe Haley could do books for 11+ books! Would love to know!

Hey Haley❤ I highly recommend Katie Cross' Coffee Shop Girl series if you love cosy romances with an exciting side-storyline 😊 All of the books take place in the same cute mountain town so it feels you're never really leaving 🥰 Books 1-3 and 6-8 are the best❤ ❤❤

15:04 Hailey, I recently read my first Ali Hazelwood book, check and mate. And it was a perfect 5 stars for me, I love it so much and the fact is a lot of my favorite books are ones you have recommended. If you ever see Ali on the street beg her to write more YA. I didn’t have that feeling of being treated like a child at all, and as a writer it was so easy and enjoyable to read!! Tyy again and again for promoting her books.

Tress of the Emerald Sea I really enjoyed because I am Tress. It was really good to see her journey from where she began to the person that she became. The world building I really enjoyed. The sea of spores made perfect sense to me since I love Biology so it was a really fun experience for me! That’s why I gave it 5⭐️

On your TBR shelf is The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea by Axie Oh! That's one of my favorite books ever. I love Axie Oh's writing so much. She writes the best characters that you just fall in love with and the story is very Studio Ghibli coded which makes it easily one of my favorite things to exist. She's one of my favorite authors so I completely recommend anything she writes. XOXO and the sequel ASAP are YA kpop romances, The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea is a Studio Ghibli style fantasy, and Rebel Seoul and its sequel Rebel Heart are futuristic sci fi fantasies. They're all the best.
