Shade and Light palette by KVD was my favorite. I loved that each "family" had a medium-tone shade that was 3 times as large than the others.

The Tati Beauty palette was absolutely amazing.

I'm so glad Tati's pallette was on this list. It was the very first pallette that I had ever bought, I was 53! I hope she comes back soon with more. I did not have a chance to try Makeup Geek eyeshadow.

I absolutely loved the Tati Beauty palette. It was so easy to use for a beginner like me to do monochrome looks. I still have it because I can’t throw it out. It’s too pretty!

Stone Cold Fox is definitely a favorite. It’s hard to find a great cool toned palette. This one doesn’t disappoint!

I LOVE the Tati Beauty textured neutrals palette it’s so beautiful.

I still have my OG Naked palette, I bought it on sale around 5 years ago when it got discontinued. I'm never decluttering that one and I still use it!

I looove Viseart. I personally don’t need super shiny metallics and flaky glitters all the time. I just don’t wear them in my everyday life. I love quality mattes and shimmers that are more delicate (for lack of better words).

Urban Decay Naked 2 (the cool-toned one) was my everyday absolute fave for many years. Also, Pat McGrath Mothership Subliminal. I love a good blue eyeshadow and that was IT. One of my other favorites many moons ago was a Guerlain palette in "Place Vendome" -- again, it had a perfect blue accent shade. My BF's mom worked at the Guerlain counter at NM at the time, so I got a discount! They also made the most beautiful rich plum eyeshadow shade, which I used as eyeliner. The texture and pigmentation were amazing,, long before anyone was talking such things on the internet.

The Persona original Identity Palette is my favorite

Too Faced Natural Eyes! That seemed to be a pretty popular one back in the day too!

First off, you are gorgeous! You are one of the only people I trust when it comes to makeup up reviews. Absolutely adore you, Marlena!

Honestly, the MUGxMannyMUA is sooooo good. It still is so good but especially at the time! That color story was everything.

This is my favorite palette of all time. I have just a little ring around the pan left in over half of the shades. I wish I would've got a backup palette before it was too late. 😢

I have 8 out of 10 of these palettes. I’m surprised that the ABH x Mario palette from 2016 wasn’t mentioned. It’s SO fun going down memory lane and revisiting some classics.

Tartelette palette is my fave! Still use it most days.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

OMG Marlena! What a walk down makeup memory lane! I have so many memories tied to the releases of these palettes. Not that I bought them all but the hype and the YT videos on them. ❤❤❤

I loved my Tati palette, and I panned multiple shades in the original Naked palette. I miss the days when there was just a couple really popular palettes a year and there were tons of tutorials and I would actually pan shadows.

I still use the Tati palette and Stone Cold Fox at least once a week. I lost interest in the Naked palettes when they started being colorful and not "naked". I w2as one of the rare ones who didn't love Modern Renaissance. Not a fan of reds and bright oranges because they make me look like I have an eye infection lol. I prefer Sultry and Soft Glam to MR.

Got to admit, some of the jeffree star and morphe palettes would be on my top 10 list. Loved Jawbreaker, and then The divine Neutrals palette.

I spray my MUG Z-palettes with alcohol about once a month to keep the bacteria away & hope they last longer. I bought a ton of shades when she had the big sale. And bought extras of a few of her pencil eyeliners (they are really good too!)😊

The manny pallet was fire!! I loved the peachy light color and the cranberry red. That duo chrome was beautiful as well.

I really liked Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass palette. I really liked the packaging - the butterfly was awesome! And for fan appeal, I think TooFaced Sweet Peach palette deserves an honorable mention.

I''m on my 3rd modern renaissance. It can be barely there, or bold. All the shades blend like a dream , all colours blend well with the other colours. I can make a cool or warm pink shimmer by blending love letter with the silver or gold. Just for fun , I mixed every shade in the palette into one shade and it was beautiful. So many warm palettes since, but none that work for me like this one

I always recommend Viseart palettes to makeup beginners or people who only want 1 good palette in their collection. It’s 100% reliable for quality, ease off use & shelf life. Couldn’t agree more with your picks Marlena.

My all-time favorite is the Urban Decay Moondust pallette. At the time it came out, I had never seen such insane shimmers. And the color story was a good mix of different color families.

This inspired me to dig through mine and find my tarte in bloom. I loved that palette

My favorite shadows were MUG. I wanted to own every single color you made. I did a pretty good job of getting them all. Thank you for MUG!!

Oooh the oh naked was my first ever ‘premium’ palette. Sidecar 😍… half baked 😍 the memories haha! Also love the ND nude. One of my faves was also the og TF chocolate bar, and the soft glam palette.

I wanna shout out Inglot’s AMC eyeliner. I think it’s $12 and the best I’ve used - no smudging, stays absolutely put, and the pencil lasts forever. Like forever forever.

@marlena, I absolutely ADORE Makeup Geek eye shadows. I know it’s not a palette but I love them. Stone Cold Fox is a favorite of mine!!

I’m a huge fan as you were one of the first makeup channels I discovered back in 2010ish however I feel a HUGE miss on this list was undoubtedly the original Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette. That palette broke more records than most palettes on this list. It was a good quality palette at an affordable price.

Great video Marlena and you were bang-on with your choices. It would be interesting to see a video with the most inclusive palettes featured. I think you should try the Vieve palettes too as all three of them are just delicious!! Love from Ireland XOX

I loved the Do Your Squats palette, the colours were so universal and the textures were so user friendly.

My first and favorite palette was the Lorac pro palette. Loved it. .. and agree that it would be great for Tati Beauty to come back. She really has a great vision for cosmetics.

I actually love the Violet Voss quality as well, but you had my faves... the naked palette and tartelette in bloom...

Immediately clicked on this video! I love eyeshadow. I just don't wear it that often because I work in a jail. I still love them though. I love the Tarte eyeshadow formula. I know a lot of people don't but I love the Amazonian clay eyeshadow. It smells amazing and the shadows blend easily.

I LOVE this video!!! I would bump the Tartlette in Bloom off and replace it for Sigma's An Knook palette. For me, Tati & An's palette are my top #1 & #2. Manny absolutely slayed the duo chrome colors.. yep, love that one. Honestly I can't comment on Pat or Viseart because I won't spend in that price point. Anxious to hear from others as to what they would add to the list along with my fav of An Knook's palette.
