    With all the study of the swing this late summer and fall plus all the videos I’ve watched I wasn’t expecting to be so easily enlightened. As you began the video I seriously kept my head down and my eyes on the club head direction. Though I am tired I will not rest until I write down this critical point. I hope this early spring to be confident about being consistent. That what I want and what happens coincides more frequently.(daring to write at length means needing a dictionary) thanks Matt

    Matt again massive thank you with all your drills.When I came across you my short game was not very good as I’m self tort watching and learning is how I have improved.You have made it so easy to understand I just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work. When I started watching your videos I played off 7 I’m now off 0.8 and everybody who I 0lay with says how much I have improved my short game which we both know is the most important part of the game. So I have told everybody about you so you now have some more follows. Thanks again👍🇬🇧🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇💪🏌🏿‍♂️⛳️

    GREAT vid and perfect timing, bless you!! In past had horrible habit of flopping open face w inside take away, just felt good. Now Im over compensating and have too closed (closed and low too long) and trying to keep it closed my right elbow is like bent 90* at parralell, makes me sick when I see a video of my swing but Im compressing it and repeating it enough to maintain my 6 index. This is a huge help, not if I can just do it!!

    Absolutely enjoy watching the instructional videos, they really help me with my game. But I have noticed recently in some of the videos that you are wearing the Nike Air Max 270 G shoes rather than the Athalonz golf shoes. Are you switching golf shoes or still prefer Athalonz to wear on the golf course?

    I noticed that not only does the baseboard drill help me stay on plane for better contact and accuracy, it helps me with my shoulder turn and maintaining a wider arc. I've had to revise my club choices because I am hitting my irons at least a full club further.

    I normally use the ball behind the club head on my backswing.. When I do the backswing drill I push the golf ball away back and the ball should go straight on line back that I know my club head was square for a moment on the takeaway.

    What shaft do you have in that 7 iron?

  • @nickolasmagos219
    @nickolasmagos2193 жыл бұрын

    This is a two plane swing that leads to disconnection at the top and you have to shallow the club in the transition stage. If you let your body move your arms up and down and don't fight the forearm rotation the club will stay on plane throughout the swing. You won't push it right if you complete the turn on the down swing. Too often people are ball bound and have their weight stuck on the back foot.

    U always see low level teaching pros and club teaching pros focusing on these little movements. Then u get to the tour level of coaches and u absolutely never hear anything about these little movements. All focus goes to what’s happening 6 inches before and after impact. They could careless about how ya get there.
