Fantastic breakdown Smitty! If you can fit bait or weight in the back compartment it will also balance the load a bit , and make it easier to take out larger weight loads.

Question... i shore fish from lakes ponds and rivers.. often weedy and sometimes shallow. Cant cast as far as id like because of basic physics. Weight of the lure, distance and inability to even get near the opposing sides or shores. Often densely forested. I fish for large mouth, small mouth,trout,crappie,bluegill,walleye,pike etc.... I am looking for a way to drag a "weedless" lure to a spot of my liking. 100-1,000 feet away. Will this.boat carry a non "salt" lure and line. I use braided kevlar or spectra line and small light soft and hard bodied lures. Will this work? Is it worth me spending $700 on the basic one to be a run and dump then reel with my rod kinda setup? I often feel like a jet drive boat would be best for me. But none are available. Just worried about weeds getting through those cages and wound up on the props.

Hi. Appreciate the video. Would it be possible to show a demonstration how to set the GPS return function on the remote? The instruction manual wasn’t that clear.

Here in the north west we have white sharks they take seals off the surface not sure I’d use a red rc to tow bait out to them if they sent it then see that color good bye rc! Can’t wait for that video RC shark fishing lure!

how do you know how far you went out? do you have to buy the higher end fishfinder model ?

Have you ever had a fish strike when sending the boat out with your bait hanging from the back - and if so what happened...

What if you hang the bait from the release under the center of the boat?

Literally ordered one a few days ago, cannot wait to break those waves for once, I went the drone route first but I felt it was too risky and the batteries only last one cast. Also swimming out to save it if the connection fails is something I'm not to keen on lol.

@@JayJay-cx5te it's a great boat mate. Does all the right things. Just gotta choose your places well. Unfortunately for me it's just not powerful to breach waves with an 8 ounce sinker and bait. Gps works well. But I'd recommend for people who want to catch big fish to invest in a kontiki or something better. I found that it used batteries much too quickly. The warning light came on during my second cast... usually about 250m drop. The deal only comes with one battery and omg its hard to buy spare batteries. Literally all out of stock and can't buy from supplier.. Other than that it works very well. Just gotta keep it clean from the salt water. I dropped my controller in salt water and now the propellers repel each other..

@@JayJay-cx5te the first few uses were awesome had lots of power. But then I noticed the propellers starting spiking in and out of control. Had me worried a few times that it wouldn't return but I managed.

Every time I disconnect the battery the bait door opens even when control is on our off. How do I correct this issue?

You'll get roughly 60 mins of run time out of a battery.

The hull design is such that it will self-right if it gets flipped over.

Do you have to have a license to use a boat like that?

Isn't there another bait hook underneath? Should test from that one as it would center weight the boat

The GPS is ready to use out of the box. However you have to set your home location before each trip. The instructions to do that come with the boat.

I usually get 6 bait drops at about 10 mins each, so I'd say about 60 mins. Give or take a 10.
