Damn Charlie! That was deep as fuck. I started crying just seeing him cry. He is such a amazing person and I am so happy he is back to creating beautiful music. He is my favorite singer that I will never stop listening to! I remember hearing Marvin Gaye for the first time on the radio and literally going “WHO IS THIS MAN AND WHERE CAN I FIND HIM!?!”…I am just so happy that he didn’t quit what makes him WHO HE IS! He saved me. His music saved me from so much that I have been trying to get away from. He is just such a angel and I can’t wait to hear what music he brings us in the future. WE LOVE YOU CHARLIE! 💚💚💚

The hardest times bring great music. It’s crazy how he’s been the soundtrack to my life since 2017, every song he puts out always has some relatability regardless that all people have different, unique yet similar experiences. I almost cried as well, remembering what I personally went through in the past too from 2018-2020. This is why Charlie is so relatable and is one of the best pop artists of our era. Can’t wait to ugly cry to that’s hilarious - a sad anthem but also one of overcoming. 💪🏽

This song is probably gonna hit like a brick wall for me since I also went through a horrible breakup and overall awful year in 2019. But feeling those feelings is so important to healing as he said. So ready for this song and I’m in such admiration for the talent and beauty of the way this man presents such vulnerable emotions and the willingness to do so.

I understand man. Breakups are really hard and they feel like after you've broken up with someone like everything that you've had throughout that time. That you've been with your lover means absolutely nothing. And I know you don't want to be reminded of such a harsh time. The fact that Charlie can come out of the hardest time of his life and write a song about it called That's Hilarious honestly tells me how strong this guy is. When you can look back at a time and notice the little irony in the cruelty like "you didn't love when you had me but now you need me so badly, you can't be serious (ha ha ha) that's hilarious", I feel like that's when you know you're ready to face it.
