No drying in thin sheets can make it white again so you can just recolor it

it's satisfying to see it come off 😊

Don't worry about the color mixing. Leave wax in thin sheets to dry for a long time and it turns white again. You can add color again and repeat.

I’ve made candles before and can explain a bit- not entirely sure on the science tho A lot of the wax pigments can be easily overpowered. Why when putting a new layer of wax on it can cover the previous color without bleeding. Melting a different colored wax in of the tiny tiny quantity we see- isn’t going to do much at all. And if it does become discolored adding white (uncolored) and then more pigment can easily fix it This is from my own experience not science

For all of the people saying "Oh, she ruined the colours" it doesn't matter. There are so much colourant in the wax that it doesn't change the colour at all. So it isn't that big of a deal. Edit: Thanks for the likes I haven't ever gotten this many and in only 2 weeks 😀😀

The wax is already a mix of the dried wax colors as I’m assuming she doesn’t empty it out and refill, she just adds more base color as needed. And the vat is deep enough that the color won’t change by adding minuscule amounts of something else. The most effected would probably be the white but the rest wouldn’t really change.

I mean, plain wax is fine. I've swallowed a decent bit from nik-l-nip mini drinks (tiny wax bottles with colorful syrup inside). Not sure what dyes and other additives they might have in the candle wax though

I have seen her refresh the color by adding what looks like a bit of wax that had concentrated color. Its either wax or color pigment in block form.

I imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult to use color theory to negate the effects or just add more pigment to overwhelm it, plus new wax is definitely added regularly and there’s always going to be a ton of crossover from dipping, so cleaning probably doesn’t effect it as much as that does

Ratio is small enough to not have mich of an effect or, the coloir is rebalanced after mix via aadditional wax or pigment

it does affect the color, that’s why the yellow looks green (from the blue). it just happens slowly depending on the amount of the other colors added. usually it’s small so it doesn’t make a big difference at first until more is added. they also change out the wax when the colors become too muddy!

Coming from a candle maker :) it doesn’t affect the darker colors as much so you can put basically anything into those but if the lighter ones (and Also darker) change their original color a lot we can always add wax color blocks to regain the original color :))

The way it plops in is just so satisfying 😊

If doing that was a job, I WOULD ALREADY BE DOING ALL THAT

Imagine working here and saving up all that wax and then another person comes in there and does it before you can.

I love this...I definitely love that clean metal underneath and I definitely want to squish that wax texture so badly!
