If any of the content creators featured in this video, or in any of my videos, see this, and would like me to take it down, I can do so, just let me know. However, I would like to say the following first: this is just for fun and for editing practice. I make no money from this, nor do I mean to take away views from any official channels or platforms, ever. Thank you.
I love this guy's videos a lot and I thought this would be a fun way to introduce him to more people, so I whipped up this compilation in a couple hours!! hopefully it doesn't completely flop ^^

@@amperni It’s an actual word. adjective adjective: noxious harmful, poisonous, or very unpleasant. "they were overcome by the noxious fumes" I don’t hear it much, I don’t think it’s that common a word but most times I’ve heard it used in a sentence it’s referring to a “noxious odor,” aka a bad smell. I love this guy so much. As a french person with a very basic knowledge of linguistic, it sometimes feels like my own culture and country is gaslighting me into thinking that it's actually perfectly normal to be insanely prescriptivist about languages and that people who don't speak the "correct" way should feel bad about it. This dude is always a breath of fresh air, talking about many linguistic phenomenon for what they are, without any value judgement on it. He makes me remember how fun and interesting languages can be when you get out of the exhausting "proper grammar" discourse.

@@Xxxbluebirdxxx I mean France literally has an official governing body that tries to dictate the rules of French (Académie Française) so yeah they are culturally pretty prescriptivist when it comes to language. It's pretty stupid, but it is what it is. Good thing is that my impression is their rulings don't tend to pertain to colloquial French, since they obviously can't exert authority on how people talk in everyday conversations.
