Excellent! Very refreshing to see Clarence Muse as a major player in this film. He was a good character actor for his time.
This reminds me of The Little Rascals except with teenagers instead of little kids. This is one of the best movies from the 40's I've seen.
Growing up in NYC this all me and my 6 brothers watched as kids along with your gangster and western movies... Sure miss those days

@@reelblack Figured as much, Mike. I remember watching that ep when I was a kid. I cain't remember if "The Bowery Boys" came before them, though. All those child actors must've grown up watching Jimmy Cagney. BTW, you see Mugsy's li'l cowboy boots while he was sittin' on the fence about ridin'' Blue Knight? Hilarious. 🤠
Born in ´67 in Germany, so this is the first time I watching this. Really like old movies
This is why I love this channel.
The black kid plays his part very well, and he's not tap dancing and playing that heavy stereotype. Movies from this era are priceless. No technology and no one walking in slow motion like 80% of the films today.

These character actors in this pack are so good , I had seen them in the dozen or more films as East Side Kids , Dead End Kids , Bowery Boys , etc perhaps 100 times. Only in the last decage did I actually learn the names behind , Sach , Slip , Gimpy , ...
