This year my husband was in charge of the Mac and Cheese. He hand-shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and pepper jack and he makes his own bacon bit too!

I love how you are authentic about the imperfections that you experience while cooking, dealing with motherhood, and how things don't always plan out. Interesting how your baby gets fuzzy and calms down right when you leave. Its his way of heping your doggie. Love how you are NOT like other people who set fake expectations. You are amazing!

I’m always in charge of the deviled eggs and fruit salad (grandma’s recipe). I make my deviled eggs with mustard, pickle juice and miracle whip…that exact combo mixed with the yolks is so zesty and good…everyone always LOVES them (when I say love, I mean I can make over 70 and they are gone before dinner time EVERY year lol). 🙌🥚

My dog loves his kennel. He goes in on his own. It is their safe place. Place blankets and a small bed, and he will love it. Plus if there is an emergency u will know exactly where he is or emergency workers.

Hey Jade! I decorate my kitchen for Halloween with pie pumpkins. (I use the big ones for Jack-o- lanterns.) Then I cook them in the oven and make them into Thanksgiving pies, pancakes, soups, etc...I think maybe your nightmare of being trapped happened because Neens was trapped. It was hard on both of you. Also, as a mother of five grown children I can assure you that your son will probably sleep through most nights by the time he's twenty.😁

Listening to you describe your dream honestly gave me goosebumps lol, I sounds like you had sleep paralysis maybe? But those kinds of dreams where they feel real always stress me out, I can imagine how stressed you felt in that dream. Happy late thanksgiving to you and your family! My dishes are deviled eggs and spinach artichoke dip. Basically everyone in my family begs me to make those every event 😂😂

I know how you feel about Neens, I adopt senior dachshunds and I've had to deal with seizures, medications, blindness, back legs no longer working among other things. They tend to get stuck in situations like you described and hurt themselves. I have used a cloth type doggie playpen when they don't do good in a cage, it's helps to give a descent amount of room and comfort so they don't get as stressed out. Hope that helps.
