“Thank You for Being a Friend” Thanksgiving Jam

Музыка

Coming to you a bit early this week for a Thanksgiving tune! I know that this has been a rough year, but I for one still have a lot of things to be thankful for. I’m thankful for all of you, my friends. Here’s “Thank You for Being a Friend,” by the late, great Andrew Gold, which most people (of course) know as the theme from Golden Girls. I gave it a little trim and here it is. Happy Thanksgiving! Maybe next year we can all get together!

Great cover, I'm going to watch it and try and learn it lol, I haven't touched my guitar in a long time so it may take me a minute. One of the best covers I've seen of this. 👍

Thanks so much! All the chords are in the key of G capo 3 (so B flat)- just zoom in on those hands- you’ll get it!

@@mistersongbird My dad used to play country and I grew up playing solo in pubs professionally There were only a few of us that played well with out sequencers. We ha great sound and vocals. I’m in the mist of learning this song. Lots of sus chords. 👍

No tab (I’m not even sure how to do one!), but a lot of those ringing G chords are xx503x- the big G chords with the sus sound are 3x2013- hope that helps get you started! Thanks again!

Better than the john mayor version. But this song really needs a piano to play that melody lol
