I recently played DS3 for the first time and something similar happened to me. (I didnt even know you could use the mimic at that point, I just learned it afterwards)

First "thank you Dark Souls" where you don't die - amazing

It's even funnier when you realize that Sekiro, which has been out for a while now, still has that easily done trick where you can make one of the hardest bosses fall to it's death.

There’s this really easy bug where you bait one of the crystal lizards to fall through a wall. Do it every time

People talk a lot about hitting walls and your weapons bouncing off of them but it not happening to the other enemies. What they fail to realize is, this doesn't happen with most heavy weapons, and even some dex weapons can go through walls. I've been holding that in for a while but it's like yeah, some weapons bounce off walls and others don't. It shouldn't be surprising that npcs get the same treatment but a little better.

The fact that we hear a **CRASH** before he dies is amazing. 10/10, would laugh again.

When I was fighting with demon he didnt want to go up the stairs. I could stand there, dodge his range attack, make him go a bit up and get free hits on him when he was going back. Whole fight was looking like that.

I was worried for a moment there that the demon had been placed down in the smouldering lake and you would've had to fight it while the ballista shoots at you

Hey this happened to me on my last playthrough too! Except the demon just got stuck with his foot hanging out and I shot arrows at it until he died. Seems like it must be something that happens pretty frequently then. You'd think FromSoft would have noticed and fixed a glitch like this since so many people probably instinctively run away at first, only for this to happen. The crabs in the Smouldering Lake get glitched in to the wall pretty often as well for me. But whatever, either way, I'll take the easy kills.
