The Creator's Words 16:65 وَٱللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَسْمَعُونَ ٦٥ And Allah(God) sends down rain from the sky, giving life to the earth after its death. Surely in this is a sign for those who listen. 16:66 وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ لَعِبْرَةًۭ ۖ نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍۢ وَدَمٍۢ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًۭا سَآئِغًۭا لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ ٦٦ And there is certainly a lesson for you in cattle: We give you to drink of what is in their bellies, from between digested food and blood: pure milk, pleasant to drink.[1] [1] lit., pleasant for those who drink. 16:67 وَمِن ثَمَرَٰتِ ٱلنَّخِيلِ وَٱلْأَعْنَـٰبِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًۭا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ ٦٧ And from the fruits of palm trees and grapevines you derive intoxicants[1] as well as wholesome provision. Surely in this is a sign for those who understand. [1] Intoxicants were later prohibited in the Quran in three stages: 2:19, 4:43, and finally 5:90-91. 16:68 وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ أَنِ ٱتَّخِذِى مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ ٦٨ And your Lord inspired the bees: “Make ˹your˺ homes in the mountains, the trees, and in what people construct, 16:69 ثُمَّ كُلِى مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسْلُكِى سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًۭا ۚ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌۭ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٌۭ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ٦٩ and feed from ˹the flower of˺ any fruit ˹you please˺ and follow the ways your Lord has made easy for you.” From their bellies comes forth liquid of varying colours, in which there is healing for people. Surely in this is a sign for those who reflect. 16:70 وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ ۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْعُمُرِ لِكَىْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍۢ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۭ قَدِيرٌۭ ٧٠ Allah(God) has created you, and then causes you to die. And some of you are left to reach the most feeble stage of life so that they may know nothing after having known much. Indeed, Allah(God) is All-Knowing, Most Capable. 16:71 وَٱللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فِى ٱلرِّزْقِ ۚ فَمَا ٱلَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا۟ بِرَآدِّى رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَـٰنُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌ ۚ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ ٧١ And Allah(God) has favoured some of you over others in provision. But those who have been much favoured would not share their wealth with those ˹bondspeople˺ in their possession, making them their equals.[1] Do they then deny Allah’s favours? [1] In other words, if the pagan slave-masters are not willing to be equal to their slaves, why would they make anyone equal to Allah(God) -the Supreme Master and Creator of all things? 16:72 وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةًۭ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ ۚ أَفَبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَتِ ٱللَّهِ هُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ ٧٢ And Allah(God) has made for you spouses of your own kind, and given you through your spouses children and grandchildren.[1] And He has granted you good, lawful provisions. Are they then faithful to falsehood and ungrateful for Allah’s favours? [1] Ḥafadah means grandchildren, but can also mean children-in-law. 16:73 وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ رِزْقًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ٧٣ Yet they worship besides Allah those who do not afford them any provision from the heavens and the earth, nor do they have the power to. 16:74 فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ٧٤ So do not set up equals to Allah, for Allah(God) certainly knows and you do not know. 16:75 ۞ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبْدًۭا مَّمْلُوكًۭا لَّا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَمَن رَّزَقْنَـٰهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًۭا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّۭا وَجَهْرًا ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوُۥنَ ۚ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٧٥ Allah(God) sets forth a parable: a slave who lacks all means, compared to a ˹free˺ man to whom We granted a good provision, of which he donates ˹freely,˺ openly and secretly. Are they equal? Praise be to Allah. In fact, most of them do not know. 16:76 وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًۭا رَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلَىٰهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ ۙ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ ٧٦ And Allah sets forth a parable of two men: one of them is dumb, incapable of anything. He is a burden on his master. Wherever he is sent, he brings no good. Can such a person be equal to the one who commands justice and is on the Straight Path?[1] [1] The two parables emphasize that Almighty Allah masterfully conducts the affairs of the heavens and the earth, whereas false gods are incapable of anything. If this is the case, these gods are not His equal and He is the only one worthy of worship. 16:77 وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَآ أَمْرُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ ٱلْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ ٧٧ To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs ˹the knowledge of˺ the unseen in the heavens and the earth. Bringing about the Hour would only take the blink of an eye, or even less. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything. 16:78 وَٱللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۙ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ٧٨ And Allah brought you out of the wombs of your mothers while you knew nothing, and gave you hearing, sight, and intellect so perhaps you would be thankful. Via The Quran

Yes Lindsey exactly - it’s bad for kids in a thousand ways. Sarah should take all the videos with her kids in them off the internet if she truly cares about this.

It boggles my mind that people can get so offended when a youtuber quits their job. Its all she did. She quit her job. We all get to do that. Life goes on. We live in a society where its odd to never quit your job. This is perfectly normal.

Because they usually do it when they hit 1m meaning they made lots of money and still will make after every view they get which is kinda hypocritical. I'm speaking in general, I'm not even one of her followers (this video was recommended to me) but many other youtubers I love do this once they hit 1m which is sad. If I knew about this I wouldn't follow them from the first place.

Sarah, you’ve been my “mom friend” since back when Ivy was a baby and my four year old was an infant. I didn’t have any other moms my age in my life to look to for encouragement, and finding someone who loves the Lord so much and strives for excellence in her life was so inspiring to me. You’ve encouraged me for my entire mom journey and I am so grateful that you were there when I needed you. I finally have mom friends and I’m working on developing those relationships, God brought you into my life when I needed you and I am so thankful you followed His calling to be a KZreadr and are following His calling to move to the next thing. I discovered her today while doing research on the interference of "modern medicine" & childbirth. I am so sad I didn't discover her sooner but as a Christian I am MORE happy than sad that she's following God's calling. What an amazing, beautiful woman of God & I've only watched 2 videos! I had a similar situation in my life where God made a clear decision for me to stay home with my babies by firing me from my job. It was hard in that season becausei took it personally but I am so thankful to God for doing that! Excited to see you enjoy this new season and focus on where God is leading you!

I remember I started watching when I was an awkward high schooler and you just made makeup videos, and then you rebranded, and I think it clicked into place with changes that were going on in my own life. So this year I decide to stop making videos about hair, And started making videos on how to “get out of poverty “. The energy I got from this video is the same energy I got when I finally got an official diagnosis for my chronic illness: Healing!! I am so happy for you that you finally get a break and focus on what you love and what loves you back, and just being able to find that comfort is such an amazing feeling that unfortunately not a lot of people understand. You have been such an inspiration and I hope you are doing well!

There was a time in my life where my aspirations of being a birth worker was overshadowing my role as a mother. It was choosing a something that I absolutely loved doing and my children. I chose my children and would make that choice 100x over. When I stopped I found true joy. I delighted in my children. I found peace in my home. I respect your decision.

I'm glad about the awareness of how this affects children is being addressed here! I grew up in a similar way where my life was shared in media form and while it was done in the name of "ministry and helping other families" it ended up crossing many boundaries and being experienced as exploitation. As much as I love watching other mothers mother their brood, I respect and would not mind if they never showed their children. It's a child's right to their privacy. Respect for you and your decision Sarah! This will make space for so many good things for you and your family
