Logical both are acceptable by Immigration officer and in Ticket counter. But suggested is to keep documents handy as it looks gentle and instead to read and check compared to device.

You mean there is no need of visa seal in your passport? You can directly go to immigration and get entry and exit seals?

You dont need a Visa seal. Go to airport(from India)> take tickets> while giving ticket they will ask for passport, return flight, money(sometimes), hotel booking> You get boarding pass> Go to immigration officer> He checks boarding pass snd passport> Puts immigration stamp> you board flight. Post reaching Thailand> Go to immigration desk> They will check passport and boarding pass (the one you travelled with and reached Thailand)> Will put stamp (As its visa free now, no fees required )> Head to city and enjoy. This is my experience, i travelled solo to Bangkok and Pattaya in Jan 2024.

same PNR u cant visit, different PNR yes u can exit and enter again, but u might have to tackle with stuff like hotel bookings with immigration

Group of 8 people have a connecting flight from DMK airport in Bangkok to Phuket with a self transfer . The gap between the two flights is only two hours. Is two hours enough for us to self transfer and get the visa on arrival in Bangkok or would the time not be enough . Would we have to book e-visa? Or is it allowed to directly get a visa in Phuket?

2 hours is quiet difficult, I would suggest you to speak to cabin crew stating the same once u board the flight and yes ur immigration will be done in DMK during transfer

u need 10k thai baht and in thai baht only, but no one asked me till now

P.S I have been to Thailand twice since the 30 days exemption and both the time they didn't ask me for return flight ticket or hotel booking! Thailand is begging for tourist money 🤑

When you land in Thailand. Go straight to the immigration queue and they stamp you visa for 30 days i.e Dec 8th. Thailand is planning on 60 days visa exemption which will most probably be done within the time you fly so you will be able to stay till Jan 7th

You walk straight to the immigration when your flight lands and they stamp your passport for 30 days i.e Dec 8th. Thailand is considering 60 days visa exemption for Indians by November that should be happening i.e your passport will be stamped till Jan 7th !!!
