How about Tuesday mornings ?

January 2023 I spent the entire month in Thailand..... Most of the time on Koh Samui. Was absolutely amazing! Your channel here and a few others I follow religiously since I have every intention of retiring to Thailand. Thank you for everything you post!!!

What a life eh? I’ve been watching your content for a year now and I can’t wait to get there on my first trip. My plan is to start and end in Thailand and visit multiple countries in Southeast Asia. This will certainly be one of my destinations while there. It’s amazing!

Nice place to stay at and interesting places for visiting and to have a satisfying meal but yes, a bit expensive for a 2-day vacation. In addition, I thought the beach was going to have a better view compared to the price of the hotel. Thanks for the video. 👍

Great insight into Samui. One place I've not travelled to within Thailand. Maybe one day. Lived in Thailand for 12 years, came back to UK during the civil unrest as had a young child. Really miss the place.....will be coming for a holiday next year with the kids.....and defo will be retiring there 🤞. Glad to see not so much has changed regarding the laid back vibe. Keep up the good work, love your vlogs 🤜🤛

I live in Chiang Mai, which in itself is an excellent option for a getaway (not during smokey season). I just got back from Chiang Rai for a three-day trip. We stayed at a great resort called "The Legend". It is located on the river, great rooms, pool, lawned gardens, water features, and an excellent breakfast. Since I have my own car, we drove the three hours to and from. We went to see the Blue and the White Temple, Black House, Singha Park, the night bazaar, walking street market, and the royal family carriage house. We had great Mexican food at Samarosa (spelling???). I wanted to revisit the Hungry Wolf restaurant, but they close for the month of April every year, so that was a missed opportunity. We did go to Fish and Chips and had an OK meal. The portions were huge though. The next weekend getaway will be to Pai I think. We love the mountains versus the beaches.

Really liked the concept of presenting what a quick weekend getaway from Bangkok would be like (pretty much just about what we would do ourselves), can you also please do Phuket and other beach areas driveable from Bangkok?

Thank you for all of the inspiring videos on moving to Thailand. I spent 30 days touring most of the major areas on Nov/Dec 2023. Fantastic video. One can splurge on a hotel room for a day or 2, 3 being right at the beach, and get a cheaper room couple of 100mt away for the rest of the stay. Awesome review on Hachiya (were you tipsy there?)

Just landed back in oz today from my Thailand holiday. I had planned to go to Kho Samui but decided to go from my planned Phuket to Surat Thani instead of Kho Sami. I am totally happy with my choice I think either choice would have been good imo. Thx for the video I will probably fit Kho Samui in next visit.

Chris, we met (very briefly) on Sukhumvit Soi 11 in December. Anyway, I digress. Even I laughed at your Thai 😂 but you’re making an effort which is always appreciated by Thai people. Resort looks nice. I retire to Thailand later this year and would certainly consider Samui to stay for maybe 6-months. Just concerned it will be a little spenny for me now I’m retired.

I am going to Samui from Canada leaving on January 1. I fly SCOOT into Samui from SIN. Thanks for listing some great places to check out. The 4 seasons are charging $2700cdn for a night in Samui. I have 33 nights of decent hotels around Thailand for less than that.

The breakfast at the Melia is great (been there and enjoyed it very much) but can’t beat the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai in Bangkok. If you give the Melia a 9.5 the Eastin breaks the scale as it is at least a 15. Check it out and thank me later 😊

Just curious about a couple things. How is it possible to get a Samui resident card if you live in Bangkok? I realize you had it from before and your renewed it but same question. I would love to get half off Bangkok Airways too. lol. Second question, for the 1000 thb per day for the car rental, does that include collision insurance? If not can you purchase it for a fee? Nice hotel it's across the street from your friends with the Korean restaurant, right? Mr. Eung is a funny guy and yes the place is now usually busy and yes it in my estimation has a lot to do with your vlogs. The Issan restaurant is near where we live ... nope it doesn't get over the top busy ... you're an influencer ; ) We will try Hachoo (Hachiya) ; ) Flat White is an OZZy thing. It generally has a higher proportion of espresso to milk than a caffè latte. Was it cooler in Samui?

You live in Asoke so how do you get the bangkok airlines 50% card? Expensive two days, wouldn't cost me that here in Australia.
