Such a unique place to stay! That lake looks absolutely unreal-I’m sure photos don’t do it justice but your videos and drone shots are really awesome!

Thailand has so many epic and uniqe places we didn't know and it's quiet from a bunch of tourist too.

Wonderful, protection of the water with the special toilets, I like the way it s been built. Of course there s always better constructions and better environment protection but this one looks very good and the water looks wonderful.

The water was lovely to swim in and we also didn't mind the toilet situation. We agree it's built this way probably to more efficiently treat the waste.

Been there twice, will be thrice soon. Different season gives different beauty. Never get tired of this place.

@@FloraandNote Mist occurs later when it rains. So if it rains in the evening, you would have a better chance of seeing the mist tomorrow morning. You should go during the rainy season, preferably October. Check the weather and keep your fingers crossed.

We are planning to be in Phuket in January and this place is on our bucket list, thanks guys.

Hi guys I’ve finally made it back to samui after nearly two and a half years.. I’m on my second week of the samui + program and can’t wait to start living the island life again.. I’m hoping to go Khao soak national park sometime in the near further.. How long from koh samui did it take you guys to get there and would you recommend renting a car or is the bike ok… I first found you guys over a year ago and subscribed straight away lol you have kept the dream alive for me.. thank you Colin

Hi Colin! Welcome back to Samui :) It took us about 2.5 hours once we arrived on the mainland in Surat Thani. With the monsoon season coming, probably more enjoyable in a car than soaking wet on the bike 😉

Hi Guys, Loved this video, it brought back such wonderful memories. We stayed on Cheow Lan Lake in 2008 with our children. Your accommodation was luxury compared to our floating room, we had a mattress on the floor and there was no fan but we loved every minute of it.

That's amazing! This place has been around since 2006 but they've been gradually upgrading their facilities. I think most rafthouses have probably been doing the same to keep up with the competition.
