Today we take you to Thailand's most beautiful temple: The Blue Temple in Chiang Rai (Wat Rong Suea Ten), which made us absolutely speechless by its sheer magnificence! This temple in northern Thailand is known for its distinctive blue color and combines traditional Buddhist values with classic Thai culture. The dominant blue color of this temple represents the teachings of Buddha and is symbolically associated to purity, wisdom and healing. Of all the temples we have seen in Thailand until now, the blue temple in Chiang Rai was hands down the most beautiful one!!!
We will also visit the White Temple in Chiang Rai (Wat Rong Khun), which is a piece of art in itself. It invites visitors to contemplate the profound lessons of Buddhism. The white color symbolizes purity and the mirrors are believed to represent the Buddhas wisdom reflecting the world.
We will start our road trip in Chiang Mai and we will drive all the way up to Chiang Rai by scooter. 180km road trip in northern Thailand yuppiiieeee.
