Convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester, along with his girlfriend Nandipha Magudumana and seven others, are facing charges including fraud, obstruction of justice, aiding a convict, desecration of a corpse and arson in the Free State High Court.
A pre-trial hearing scheduled for today is expected to be postponed due to some defendants changing legal representation.
One of the attorneys representing Zanda Moyo, a Zimbabwean national involved in the case, has withdrawn, citing Moyo's inability to afford legal fees.
Moyo allegedly lived with Bester and Magudumana.
