I have started crying right away I saw Qi Rong... He didn't deserve any of the thinga happenes to him. The way he tried was not the best but he justed wanted Xie Lian to be his friend. He was so proud of hia cousin and wanted to get closer to him but he hurt people instead. Then he died while protecting GuZi... It really hurts me the way he ended up. He just wanted love but he never knew how to because there was no one to teach him...

Hello, I wanted to thank you so much for making and sharing this MV! I've watched it many times on repeat over the years and each time it never fails to make me emotional. The imagery in the artwork is beautiful, and multiplied many-fold with how well you've synced it with the music/lyrics. The mirroring you did of the lyrics with Child Hua Cheng → Xie Lian, and then Xie Lian → Adult Hua Cheng is absolutely so well done and beautiful, The showcase of the gods with "the rain falls gently" + Rain Master/the wind blows gently + Wind Master, etc, is beautiful, I really can't praise your work enough!!!

Your drawing is simple strokes but it tells the important bits of the novel of their love. Most of all, why Hua Cheng fell in love with Xie Lan and devoted his life to him.

Ughhh this makes me cry but still i love watching it and thinking about Xie Lian sufferings..

1:36, on this part, I'm almost crying out loud. Because it's the part in this book that makes me ask myself,will I really do that if it happens to me? And my answer scared myself, I will do that to get to live.

Ikr. I mean humans always do the worst if desperate even it means to stab someone for their own benefits. Even me, if i were in the citizen's shoes i probably will have the same thought. But this story shows that being kind is what you believe in not what you expect from others. Mxtx always bring the best out of his/her oc. Their characters development make it worthwhile to read it ❤

So I was wondering if it would be the same with TGCF. But then, I found your tribute. Spoiler... You know after reading the entire book I just feel so sad for Jun Wu, even if he did some messed up things, so did Xie Lian. Both of them tested people but got different results and therefore went in different directions. Both had friends, but for one: they abandoned him, and for another: they were let go. Guess Jun Wu never had someone to stop his madness, or help, or look after him...
