Theres the 1 smart dude who wore leathers. Ive never down hill longboarded before but i just made 2 longboards, 1 specifically for downhill, drop through board. And once i get a leather suit like this in a couple weeks im just gonna go for this crazy hill by house. NO FEAR

+Jennifer Schleei exactly 👍 ...and a helmet and especially some hand protectors Had a really nasty fall in February with having to drive to the emergency room etc and my hand is still really damaged I have to get physiotherapy because my fingers hurt and aren't really flexible any more 👎

actually longboard trucks usually lean a lot more, but due to different geometry and longer wheelbase they are more stable at speed

the whole sitting down on your longboard is a real thing. i forget what it's called but it's the same idea as that sport where you lay in a thing on the frozen ice track. not just for people who are scared.

+Brandonator24 I live in America, but I downhill often. I personally use the same technique for speed checking, just compress your legs a little. The lowered center of gravity helps correct for the oscillation in the trucks. The same goes for carving hard. When you go into a steep carve at speed, and you can feel your back end start to lose traction, just compress your legs. It'll take the weight off of your rear wheel just long enough to give them some bite. Hope this helped!

magicmartin he probably means the penny longboard that came out not too long ago. It's better to use a drop through for beginners, then switch to a top mount
