Nah, I agree with him. Majority of the vehicle taunts are normal things so a hovering/flying platform taunt would stand out a bit too much. Maybe if it was closer to the ground like the Soldier rocket taunt.

Dane only rlly thought about it for a few seconds anyway. But yeah I think if it was closer to the ground and even a bit smaller it could look a lot less out of place. Like a hoverboard

It's not really "fiction-y" especially since TF2 IS fiction. It just looks like extraterrestrial type beat because of it's design. It looks like a UFO. A hovering platform is possible because of Engie's intelligence but the fact that the platform's aesthetic looks so alien made it look like it isn't man-made.

The paint brush from 6:35 should be a reskin of the southern hospitality because the bleed effect points out cloaked spies. (and cause it's red paint)
