If I were to state my personal opinion I believed that he knew she was getting bit and that is exactly why he was holding her in the very specific way that he was because he was trying to prevent it from happening to him while making sure it happens to her.

It's weird but not uncommon. They are taught in the academy to treat every stop as if that person will try to kill u . So that's where the training needs to start is B4 they even get out there on the street. Anymore if one pulls u over there is always five more to come along and make your interaction as painful , embarrassing and financially draining as possible . Did I get this right? She made an illegal turn then refused to stop for police. Then she tried to back out of the school zone (I'm guessing to avoid the cop that was waiting for her) The cop decided she was endangering children so he slammed his car into her car to stop her...endangering her and the child in her car. (It will be interesting to see if he was actually protecting any kids nearby requiring this car crash intervention) Then they handcuffed her and pushed her face into a fire ant bed. She started screaming and telling them the ants were biting her. The cops were going to get her up quickly but she was squirming in pain (known in police documents as "resisting" police) so they pushed her face back into the ant bed for a while more. So physical injuries to the woman, possibly the child in the car, damage to the woman's car and damage to the police cruiser for an illegal turn & failure to stop. Now they have expensive lawsuit. These cops have anger issues! Sure, she should have stopped but that cop could have run her plate dealt with this later. De-escalation would have prevented pain, suffering and a lot of tax payer dollars.

I can’t imagine being bit by fire ants in the face. If I accidentally step on a fire ant hill and get bit, I immediately react so fast to get them off. Those bites hurt, sting and burn at the same time. Shame on those cops and hope they’re all held accountable.

This happened to a friend of mine many years ago. His body, arms & face were bitten up, but it wasn't as bad as this woman's.

Takes 6 months or more to get over fire ants bits, and very painful.

Imagine just driving in the wrong direction, and look what they did to her. Heartless men .

They werent all mocking her. One of them was there protecting the officer holding her down, by sweeping the ants off the woman if they made there way too close to the officer. Watch him repeatedly brush them off her arm when they get close to the officer.

That is a 14th Amendment violation for the officer that held her down and for every officer that witness the scene

Punishment for that cop holding her down: Fired, sued and held down face first in nest of fire ants for the exact time that he was held down.
