The first int, the intended receiver was too preoccupied by the defender and didn't even turn around when he was supposed to, allowing the ball to pass right by him into the arms of the db that was guarding him. Not Ewers fault. The 2nd int, same scenario as the first. The wr didn't even make a play on a very catchable ball that passed right by him. The 3rd int was a deflected pass off the wr hands. 3 ints none of which I blame Ewers for. Regardless, I'd bet you money he'll be a top tier qb whenever he enters the draft.

​@@roblockhart6104 okay you are correct on the third int, don't think you saw the first two. the first one was way to far in front and high for the reciver to have a chance. the second one was a bad call to throw there, he was covered and the omdefender jumped the rout. the ball didn't even make it to the reciver to make a play. The elite qb can only be elite against the bottom 3 teams. He is mediocre at best.

@@roboman0516 okay on 2nd viewing... don't mean to knitpic but @0:20 gives the best angle. The ball is thrown directly in front of the wr, just an arm lengths away. Had the receiver not run a crossing route and continued forward that pass was on point. Maybe it could've been a little lower/below his helmet but that was still a very catchable ball, imho. @9:43 again, not really a bad pass. Problem here is that the wr decided to run out side, giving up the inside, hoping for the ball to float that direction which only allowed for his route to be taken over by the db. Good play by the defense, but had that receiver (prob wisely not wanting to get hit/risk injury) didn't even try to contest that catch. You could see what Ewers was trying to do but he didn't count on that safety making up so much ground so quickly, turning it into a double coverage situation. Just incredible situational awareness by the db. Last int speaks for itself.

I do not understand how OU beat KU in Norman while giving up 42pts seems to have signaled that OU is back on track with nothing to worry about. OU can still very much go .500. On the flip side, the same OU fans I know that think this way also said OSU was finished and they’ll lose 3-4 more games after last week. Like…wut?

Fun game to watch

I’ve been watch football for decades and played for like a decade and a half to the college level. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an implosion by a QB as Ewers in this game. He looked like they took a random guy off the street and gave him a rough overview of what a football is and what to do with it and released him into the game.

I'm glad Oklahoma State didn't give up and tuffened up on Defense allowing only 3 points in the 2nd Half. It was not pretty but you gotta take advantage of breaks that the other team gives you. That Texas Running Back is probably going to be the first chosen Running Back in the NFL Draft, mabey first overall, even the Heisman Trophy Winner. Texas logo is so "big" that even when they just played well one game (against OU), everybody is predicting longhorns entering CFP. It takes years to build winning team. So UT fans, relax. Accept the fact your football team is irrelevant now in big 12 and in few years, you are going to join SEC for tougher competition. You are not winning in big12, you are most likely not winning in SEC. Say goodbye to glorious past. My deepest sympathy to your football program.

Bama was a slug fest to the end with Bama getting the last punch. This game was a crapfest where Texas made more mistakes in a single game than all other games this season combined. It sucks to lose regardless but far better to lose giving every ounce you have and simply getting beat rather than this 4 qtr train wreck

Oklahoma State was flagged twice. One penalty Texas declined, the other was negated by Texas also committing penalty. It's not a lot, but Oklahoma State *was* flagged. To there were zero is disingenuous. They just weren't enforced because of circumstance.

Turnovers and penalties are major recipes for a loss, especially on the road. Quinn Ewers made some bad decisions throwing the ball all day, and Oklahoma State with a big time win today

He was a 5 star recruit. Had his pick of schools to go to on a full ride. Ewers has elite talent but unfortunately mediocre wr's that have difficulty running correct routes or are just one dimensional. One ran a cross route when they should went vertical resulting in an int. Another ran outside instead of straight or inside giving up another int. Last interception was a deflected pass. Wr couldn't catch a cold.

Texas is back, in consideration for the playoffs. lol

Absolute poor defense! Every single defender for Texas needs to go back to peewee league and learn how to not arm tackle or push someone to the ground. Too many games this year have been lost to poor tackling and sub par defense.

Texas may not have beat osu.. but osu played so hard that they haven't recovered from this game.. literally not the same team..osu went on and lost both games since this game... osu also lost all their key players after this game.. we are gonna suck next year.... God help the cowboys

Texas, Blew, there chances of coming back not once but twice with the same mistake as the first time.

I still think Ewers is a good quarterback, but he just had an awful game. He was making inaccurate throws, he and the recievers weren't on the same page he just played bad. Hopefully he can learn from this and improve.
