Arch has 3 years after Ewers leaves. There is no need for manning to rush or for the program to rush manning. Ewers is going to be very good this year and then Manning will take over next year and we will have an extremely solid starter in him. I cant wait for the coin to officially flip and OU is afraid to play us every year and we keep winning. Hookem.

I agree; this is Ewers’s offense this year!! Also think it was INCREDIBLY smart for Sark to stick with Ewers playing only a couple of drives, even if they were bad! He knows what he’s got in Ewers, and this was, not only a time to test Arch more, but to let him shine more for future recruits!! Even IF Arch doesn’t play much, they now can sell, “yes, we’ll be losing an experienced vet at QB. But if you need a sample of who will be up for the next 3 years…” Also, Sark has KEPT his recruits!! J. Cook, D. Moore, Wisner, etc. they’ve stuck with the program, and when it IS Arch’s time, he’ll have had chemistry with these players in the system for 2 years!! Depth and chemistry are the biggest benefits of recruiting from high school vs the portal!! And that’s how Saban was doing it!!🤘🏻

I tend to agree. I’ve watched Quinn since high school and he’s great so long as he has superior protection but he tends to panic when up against a great or even mediocre but well executed defense. That I put down to being a kid on a superior team all his life. Arch was on a team in HS that was usually playing better opponents. That said, Quinn may finally make the leap this year but if he struggles early, Sark is going to be under enormous pressure to play Arch.
