It is one of the most beautiful locations we’ve ever climbed. We so much fun climbing we actually forgot to film most of it, but it was just really good getting to see a lot of our old friends. It is the kind of place that makes it so easy to connect with God because his love for his handiwork just seems everywhere!

Haha yeah, ADVENTURE is a key theme in the mission statement of Camp Eagle. The goal is to push campers and leaders into trying new things that they never would back home, so that they learn to embrace discomfort. By forcing ourselves into uncomfortable situations we realize how limited we are in our own strength and how much we need our community, friends, and ultimately faith to conquer our fears. Our time at Camp Eagle definitely shaped a lot of our values and helped form us into who we are today.

I went here for camp this year with my church!!!! So much fun!!!!!! As a 13 year old, it really brought me closer to god!!! I really liked the water area with the slides and stuff. We did the Sherpa, which was fun until I almost passed out(we didn’t bring water up with us). my favorite had to be the 3000 ft zip line. That long hike was worth it!!! Truely great views. I also loved that obstacle course and swing area. Was the highlight of my summer for sure!!!!!!!

That sounds so cool! I actually think I had friends that went to Camp Gray growing up. The basketball camp would have been hard for me... I was never athletic so I didn't do sport camps. But Ruth used to work at one called Kanakuk in Branson that used to do a lot of sports and athletic programming. Haha the secret deck was always a fun place to hang out because a lot of people didn't know it was there.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but I know that they would really try to work with students who weren't able to afford it. It was probably on the higher end for summer camp experiences, but I know there were scholarships offered and shorter week schedules that would make it more affordable. Also, the largest program for Camp Eagle is their "Group Camp" which is targeted towards entire youth groups. In that vein, a lot of the youth groups would do their own fundraising and offer scholarships through their church to make the experience as accessible for everyone. On top of that, Camp Eagle recently introduced their Adventure To The City camps - which brought mobile climbing walls and other elements to urban city areas to offer a VBS style camp for those who can't make it all the way out into the Hill Country.
