Texas East and Louisiana played in the Southwest Regional Final in the 2023 Little League World Series. The winner of this game advances to play in the LLWS in Williamsport later this month.

Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other KZreadrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Louisiana 3rd baseman is excellent, but also seemingly overlooked is their catcher kids a really solid defensive catcher at that age
That check swing call in the 6th was BRUTALLY bad my god leave that ump in the city.

A lot of bad strikes called. Foot off the plate strikes? I think the umps just like to ring guys up.

Cool to see everything come full circle for Needville as I saw in another KZread video in a previous regional tournament they were disqualified for a positive COVID test. But now they are heading to Williamsport! Congrats!

A false positive covid test to be exact. They got screwed over by LLWS
that Franklin kid on LA already hits and fields like a matured player. He's gonna be awesome

That call screwed them kids they was coming back to win it all in my book he didn't go the barrel never crossed the plate

I sure wish the Oklahoma coach wouldn't have screwed the pooch on his job in the 6th inning! Then i could've seen my home state at least in this game with chance to advance!! I had never seen them in my whole life make it that far!. Frustrating to cause they started strong!. Anyways Thank you Wheels for all you do for us fans to enjoy the highlights!!..

@@screwheadtx3658 That's not what I asked. I know they've been there for a while. They were in the Southeast region after LLWS got rid of the Gulf States region. I'm just curious as to why they're in Southwest. Did they need more teams in that region? Did they get rid of other regions and consolidate?

Thats because more and more towns/cities are leaving little league combined with a massive drop off in baseball participation in recent years.
