As my family and I sit without power, I find it very difficult to believe the messages these two are sharing. I also find it suspect that the priority of this press conference was to discuss being criticized, and to criticize, whatever happened with FEMA paperwork and declaration…and NOT the issue of the continuing power outages. This reduces their credibility.

There’s food and water and gas. Just go to the areas that have them. The Kroger on barker cypress and 529 is fully stocked. No long lines for groceries or gas. All that area is pretty much back to normal

A category 1 storm did that much damage i am feeling this was done on purpose .

Idk but Hidalgo people need power and unless the state of Texas or the Federal government can get that power on…maybe they don’t “need” anything. He needs to hold CenterPoint accountable. Why weren’t their staging people in Bryan College Station?? Why did a Cat 1 do so much damage???

For a person in a wheelchair who happens to be a government official you’d think in a state as great as Texas there wouldn’t be 6-7 year wait for special needs children and their parents to get in home services etc. My mind is blown by this failure of the state.
