He cleaned himself up to look like Mr church going christian middle class when he returned to Texas shed his hippie unkempt drug look. All cynically motivated. He was a true bona fide killer he had no compassion for his victims then claimed he was taking orders.

He killed without total cruelty toward his victims feeling totally vindicated that he was doing right thing fled to Texas to his family to avoid prison. Sharon Tate's mother was furious when he got to marry have children with conjugal visits. She went to testify at his parole hearings to make sure he was denied. A very sick man. Cruel and selfish.

You’re right not one in his trial showed up to support him . He did have a sort of “royalty “ treatment in Texas . He was getting his own vegetarian meals cooked for him by his mother or local restaurants. His cell was also right next to the females holding cell . They didn’t support him because he left Manson and didn’t want to be tried . If Watson had gone on trial with the others Manson might have walked free .

Finally catching some much desired attention. This is the real murderer. Charles was the fall guy. Just because a bunch of hippie girl murderers looked up to a convict like Charlie, doesn't make him a murderer. Charlie was guilty of not stopping the murders and aiding the mindset of the girls, but he did not kill anyone. The system is rigged..

He is a punk, sorry, pathetic punk....then and now. He threw his own life away as well as taking the lives of others..8...possibly more. And now he calls himself a minister.....stating that he 'deeply regrets' killing his victims. Watson can 'regret' all that he wants to and he may truly feel sorry but that wont bring his victims back to life. Here is a being who sired 4 children through conjugal visits while incarcerated and he robbed Sharon Tate, Abigail Folger, Steven Parent, Jay Sebring and Sharon's unborn son of that same privilege of becoming a parent. It is just so damn unfair.....whether Tex is truly sorry or not.

I think he tried playing the mental card when he was awaiting trial, hoping he could trick people to think he was insane, when committing the crimes. In reality he knew exactly what he was doing. The cut phone lines outside the Tate house testifies that he knew exactly what he was doing.

But I take some comfort and a quantum of solace in knowing that the creature, named Kristin, who married him and gave birth to his 4 kids, left him for a prison guard. A guard that she met at the prison where Monster tex was incarcerated at the time. So Tex had to see this man on a regular basis.....knowing that his wifey left him for that man. Poetic Justice. Tex couldnt be a man to her on the outside of those prison gates. And through this...Tex knows what he lost on the night of August 8, 1969.👍
