I think the balance between gameplay limits and real life is a bit tough but you are doing well with it. At least with Sid it wasn't a squidgy incident....

Haha really appreciate that! Yes, things could have been worse with Sid. Gotta keep that dude out of trouble...

I actually genuinely predicted Sid as the incident! Great show. I think you've actually got this era pretty accurate. I know we've mentioned the TEW limitations, but this show says it can be done, even if there's some slight changes.

Busy week but wanted to circle back around to this! Always appreciate the kind words. Sid is going to be an incident machine in this save haha. But yeah, the ratings jump is nice so we can work with this formula moving forward.

TEW really needs a setting in the company product that determines stuff like "unless stated otherwise (and unless the winner specifically only has a submission finisher) matches end via pinfall lol. Or something like that. It always irks me to see so many submission wins when playing something like 1993 WWF because tap outs really were pretty rare, that's how where wrestling was at the time. It was perceived as much worse to tap out than to get pinned. Of course MMA has since taught us that tapping out is not some "bitch move" or anything, but wrestling's always been a bit different lol.

Loved it. This episode felt great. Savage/Haku would be a gas from this period. Nice job leaning on the angles to carry the ratings. Something that can help greatly with the jobber situation is to get a development relationship in place (I was able to get USPW & WWC to accept right out of the gate, and soon after added SWS to the mix), and then sign up all the super-young talent that went on to be the heart of ECW and other late 90s stars. Have them developing and just borrow whomever you need for any given show to job out. I even give them "jobber names" so that it doesn't taint their image for whenever I bring someone up for real. My favourite thus far is having RVD come in as Robert Vann to get squished by Earthquake. Heck, even give them different generic names every time they come up, so the TV audience doesn't realize they're the same people. Now THAT is in keeping with the times, haha. I found it hilarious that WCW went from cage match, to tables match, to a DQ XD

I agree. That way, you can sign and develop like Edge and Sean Morely (Val Venis).

Always appreciate the feedback, Greg! Sorry for the delay, wild week with work. That's a great point on working on the developmental situation. That way we can build up some future stars and give them some work ont he shows. The name change idea is awesome! I might have to do that.
