Good first PPV, if the quality stays, the ratings are gonna go up. Too bad that the WCW main event scene lacks young guys that could go. There is a database that im trying right now in tew and its both really different and cool, which is the early 80's save. While you have to work around the nwa alliance, you dont have wwf that will throw ridiculous amounts of money at everyone. Also you get a lot of stars that are either really young or in their prime. Im doing JCP right now and i have Flair, Steamboat, Valentine, Snuka, Blackjack Mulligan, the Briscoes, all at their peak. Plus i can loan guys like the Von Erichs, Harley Race, Sheik, the Funk brothers, Lawler and all those guys to spice things up. Its really enjoyable and is a very good starting point for a long term game if you wanna go through 80's and 90's.

Sounds great. What MOD is it? I'm still keen to do a long term AWA save, but the era has to be right.

@@ruthlessjobber its a tew 2016 data base that starts at 1980 that i converted, but there is also a proper 1985 tew 2020 database that exists also, but if you wanna go old school there is also a 1970 database for tew 2020

@@ruthlessjobber its a converted tew 2016 mod set in 1980, as i recall there are two mods in 2020 that are set in the territory days but they are set in 1985 (so towards the end), and in 1970. 1970 Can be rough to work with as i dont know who a lot of the guys are, and im more comfurtable with the 1980 start. Also in WWF you have a midcard named Hulk hogan, he has a great look and charisma, but he is a problem in the Locker room and is not very good in the ring, i dont think he's gonna get far...

This is something that needs to be looked at in the new TEW. When you hire someone you cannot use them for until their contract expires but when the AI hires from you, they can use the wrestler immediately. Kinda makes it hard to make a ‘loser leaves’ storyline or to squash them when you don’t know when they are available. I’m also doing a WCW save but it started in January 1997 and even in my save, Hogan really does hate to lose.
