I2I and Stand Out were produced by David Z and written by Patrick DeRemer and Roy Freeland. The publisher is probably Buena Vista or Disney Music Publishing so it's hard, even if he's the original artist. It doesn't stop him from performing it though, I still want that Powerline inspired concert with new tracks of a 90's Pop R&B feel!

Most media would've had the concert be a disappointment, the lesson learned that the wacky journey was the fun and important part. Instead, this movie built up Max and Goofys relationship throughout the film, and used the concert as an emotional blowoff that legitimately delivered a AAA quality song alongside Max and Goofy connecting. They stuck the landing like Simone Bilas

Cause let’s be honest if that happened and the concert was disappointing we would have been just as let down as Max and Goofy would lol. The other thing I love that this movie does is it doesn’t make Max choose between being popular/having a girlfriend or bonding with his dad. He literally got to have everything he wanted. Some people might say that’s a cheap ending or that it’s not emotional enough, but imo it’s PLENTY emotional. Goofy and Max love each other and Max has a whole bunch of new friends and a girlfriend. Why does the ending have to be bittersweet in order to be considered good?

The thing is, this is a PERFECT song for a club. It's a great song, so beyond it's Goofy Movie station, and it's disappointing it isn't treated as the bop it is.

its amazing how he's kind of stiff in the beginning maybe thinking he doesnt sound that great or thinking the fans are gonna be dissapointed but then after the first chorus and the crowd is cheering he really lets go. Amazing performance

What was equally amazing is I was thinking about looking for a video of him here since I was thinking about him in Fresh Prince of Bel Air

This is magic right there. At first, he's like "maybe they won't even recognize me.." and starts very timid. Then he sees the audience going wild , a girl who knows the dance by heart and dance with the dancers, and the energy goes to the roof. He feels it and BECOME Powerline right there, singing his heart out. Is truly magical.

^---Bruh, this right here. I turned 39 a few weeks ago and this video got me doing the same thing. As a kid, I had the vhs of this movie and in the words of Biggie, "I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped." It always had me feeling like I was capable of amazing things. The world has a way of robbing us of our innocence as we grow up...but this song has me feeling, like just for a moment, I'm transplanted to that time when it all felt pure and wondrous. A Goofy Movie is the most underrated Disney movie of all time, in my opinion.

The hardest part is to bond with the audience not with the images ^^. Images is easily something you can add in as it goes along. especially if the images already exists ^^. So the hardest part in this should have been bonding with the audience and singing along with the music provided wich shouldn't be to hard for a singer of his caliber ^^.

I despise the minions. "Despicable Me" could have been an enjoyable movie for me since I thought the idea behind a villain adopting the little girls was a good, creative idea, but those STUPID minions ruined the entire movie. And they actually got fans? Enough fans to have their own movie? People thought Gurgi from "The Black Cauldron" was annoying because of how he talked (even though that is exactly how the character is described as speaking in the books, just sayin') when these idiotic wastes of film got super popular? What the heck happened? For the record, I'm not a fan of Gurgi, but Disney did a great job catching that character's speaking habits. I just kind of look at people with a puzzled expression when they say they love minions and can actually name the stupid overall-wearing Tic-Tacs and know their favorite minions.

I just got back from Walt Disney World and the day we went to Hollywood Studios, I decided to wear my Powerline t-shirt randomly. As my family and I were walking to MuppetVision 3D, my mom pointed out Goofy was doing a meet and greet, I looked over and MAX WAS WITH HIM!! I could not pass up the opportunity and ran into line. They went on a little break while I was in line and as they walked by they noticed my shirt right away and started to air guitar. Then when they came back and it was my turn, Goofy did the Perfect Cast!!! It was so much fun and so perfect. I wish someone was filming it but I did get some awesome pics from PhotoPass

It’s 2023, I’m 44 and this whole soundtrack still makes me “jump up” and sing along every time it comes on my Spotify playlist. I was so happy when I finally heard the full version of Stand Out. Definitely a favorite from my childhood!🥰👏🏼

I loved this movie so much that gushed to my wife who hadn’t seen it. She bought me the film and sound track for my birthday a few years back, I almost cried! Wish I could have gone to the reunion

28 years old and crying seeing TC finally sing this song live. I feel like I've waited most of my life for this! Hope he knows how many lifelong Powerline/Goofy Movie fans he's made incredibly happy!

I still can't believe Tevin Campbell sounds the EXACT same. The man does not sound like he aged.

I mean, why not? Disney is riding that nostalgia train so hard these days it's almost running it into the ground. Why not, in the midst of all these remakes, a full album release of Powerline! I would have fucking cried. He was amazing, and I’m surprised that his career didn’t take off after this movie dropped! But I’m 30, and I STILL remembered him. Actually, I bought his songs on iTunes from this soundtrack to keep my memories fresh.

This song had no business being the banger it was and still is! And Tevin slayed it live. What a.legend thst man is. So amazing to see him havint the time of his life. He truly is Powerline, the greatest 2D popstar of the 90s. Still one of the best songs Disney ever put in a movie.

I just came back here to write this: Recently, A friend of mine was staying at Disney( I live in Orlando) and invited me to the after hours party at the water park, that you have pay extra for. It was unbelievable, but for sure the highlight was the dance party with all of the characters on the beach. I'm a 37 year old man, and I was shakin it, and then this song came on! Talk about a hit right in the nostalgia. The person inside goofy was a total pro, and did THE ENTIRE DANCE to the song, and my life could've ended at that point, and I'd be happy. It was amazing. Easily one of the most under rated movies Disney has ever made.

His name may be Tevin Campbell, but to kids of the 90s, he will forever be known as Powerline.

No one took the time to learn the "Perfect Cast", it would have been the best time to bust it out.

Stand out and Eye to Eye are probably two of the best song Disney has ever put out in their movies, to this day.

Honestly, as a child I thought this was the coolest 90's pop song ever but after seeing this performance I just can't help thinking I was absolutely correct looking at the energy of everyone in there, banger song hyping everyone up!!!!

I'm 30 and tearing up rn. I still sing this this song randomly multiple times a week, along with the muse's songs from Hercules and occasionally a bunch of Lion King songs. Our Disney time felt like a golden age.

Favorite part about this performance is that the back up dancers are doing the perfect cast
