They probably made the Tetriminoes like that [] primarily to to put a little scare in anyone who might get there and wasn't prepared for them... That intense lockdown speed at 1200 pretty much ended the game there, did it?

Not only that, most people recognize pieces at that speed by their colour. And HOLY SHIT I did not see that gigantic tetrimino coming.

That is actually a reference to the very first Tetris on the old Electronica 60 computer. It was made completely in ASCII so all the blocks looked like []. It's jarring though since all the blocks are now the same color XD

Nearly six years after this video, it still gives me the chills. I wonder if the human brain can get any quicker than that, like three tetrominoes per second in Shirase 1200+, as there won't be a TGM4 sadly. Even if it's late to reply now, the Ti dump for PC runs fluently on most hardware, however, the input delay is noticeable, even by boons like me (S4 in Texmaster's Normal, snatched an S1 in Special Ti once). On the other hand I wonder, how the "natural" delay on the real Ti thing feels ...

No, I'm seriously. 309 has really really great skills. And I think there are not such differences at skills between you and I. You videos show it. Maybe you kept good training, but I didn't train enough. I can't clarify my stance about the emuraters. On the other hand, the time shows a simple fact. (the fact) I didn't achieve a faster time than 06:00 yet on the T.A.Death mode. Of cource, I'm sure that I'll achieve it at not so far days. .. way is long.

Not even the master mode on Tetris Axis (on 3ds) could compare to this.

How do you judge your position in Japan. Do you think you are in the top 10 ? 20 ? It is almost impossible for us, to know about the japanese heads of TGM. For me ZAB is mathematically the 1st in the world, then I could say KAN, 309, 777, JIN, SQR....But except KAN, SQR and you, nobody never talk to us (USA/Europe players).

There is no global leaderboard, but I'm sure I'm out of the top 100. Because, on TGM, I'm at the 30th on the LOCAL one in Pier 21. on TGM2, TGM3, some heads report their records in TETRiS-HOLiC. I'm also out of the top 30. I think they play TGM to satisfy themselves. So they are not so outgoing in the internet. And, for the most of japanese people, arcades are dying products. Even if we are in Japan, We are a sparse. (Pier 21 is the one of the last resort). I hope you can understand what I mean.

+Peter Chang that game is pretty tricky to work with. I made it to 300 on Easy mode on the sucker and managed to avoid topping out during the credits.
