I just restarted TRT after being off for about 9 months. I'm 65 and trying to lose weight and gain muscle. TRT definitely helped me on the past and I'm hoping for similar results once again. Thanks for all the information and for being such a positive influence.

People confuse TRT for low T vs performance enhancing supplementation. If you truly have low T you can benefit from TRT and diet and exercise alone will not fix that in 99% of cases.

I’m 47 and reached a point where everything felt difficult, even just mowing the lawn felt impossible (and I have a ride-on mower!). PCP recommended anti depressants, but I felt my down mood was a symptom of zero energy, so I had my T checked and it was 107. Insanely low. Started TRT 4 months ago and it’s been a bit of trial and error, but I feel 100x better. The only thing I would add to your video is HCG. It helps maintain fertility (not a concern to me), but also keeps your nutz productive and avoids the atrophy associated with test alone.

My free "T" dropped to less than 100ng/dl at one point, ten years ago. I was put on TRT and of course it went up, but for 600 bucks a month it was not really affordable for me. I started do some alternative things and I managed to bring it up to 3-400 ng/dl range. 5 years ago I went on a new way ( to me) of eating and my Vitamin D to healthier levels, and Testostrone levels shot up to near 900 ng/dl without the TRT.

@@KurtRWalker Am 57 and I was 47 when my levels started messing up that I knew of. High fat, low carbohydrate, moderate protein and started fasting more frequently than I should have. I also got rid of a lot of calcified cysts through out my body. Via pre CAC score testing and post CT scans over a 2.5 year timeframe.

Thank you for making this video . I started TRT at 40. About to turn 42 . My initial T levels were in the low 400’s don’t remember what free T was but I do a third of a 200ml vial 2 times a week so 2/3 total a week. Feel great I’ve always been active but I don’t get that drop in the middle of the day anymore . Workout everyday and all my numbers are great but I really regret starting it . Didn’t try other options first but now I’m afraid to get off . I get blood work tested 3 times a year and donate blood as often as they let yet the blood thickening still scares me

Very informative. I would much rather try the natural route than TRT. Seems safer for the longterm.

Unfortunately, this is how hormone replacement works. There’s no exact number that fits everyone. You have to start somewhere and adjust based on how you feel while taking your levels into account. I would suggest asking your pcp to test your levels or pay quest $60 for the test and go from there. If you’re way low then it’s an easy call, if you’re levels are normal then you know to look at other options
