Riding a 1997 Polaris Magnum that I picked up it's a 425 4x4

picked it up for how much? I am looking at a 4x2 1998 model. the guys being weird about the price, says taking offers and then saying no low balling LOL books in showroon for just over 800 bucks, low retail 655. this ones not running and he has no clue what's wrong he says. I would a thought a 425cc would scream a little more - I have not road many 4x4's though and the ones I did were banshees. Yamahas. I'm guessing that 4 stroke is way slower hu?

I picked this rig up for 800 dollars but I've done a lot of work to it as well 😅 probably have 2200 into by now but I've put new rims and tires, new drive chain kit, led headlights, rear seat for passenger, new battery, a used rear rack and bracket, front calipers pads and rotors as well as rear pads, new primary clutch and drive belt, and other odds and ends like changing the fluids in the engine

Yeah I'm not sure if the 4 stroke is slower but it's fairly loud in person and it has top speed of around 55-60mph

I used to have a 350 banshee you can see a vid of it on my channel it's one of the oldest videos but yeah it's much much faster than this fourwheeler lol 😆

I have a 2 stroke Polaris Sportsman 250 and it is faster on take off a little compared to my Polaris Magnum 425 4 stroke but my Magnum is not too slow either.

I have a 98 425 Magnum it is a finicky bike it needed a camshaft since the exhaust lobe was worn down it had a broken filter stand and wouldn't run right without replacing that it has been bored out and wiseco piston and rings its a good bike but I'm always finding neglected stuff from the previous owners. I still gotta do my front hubs cause there leaking a axle seal once i have these problems sorted out I might as well enjoy it since it is a good bike
