Wonder how it feels to be stranded in a snowstorm in your own house because you live on an uplowed road? Wonder how it feels to use an ATV to plow snow? Ride along with me as I get our road opened up after a blizzard! Bonus is that I almost got hit by lightning this time!

What is your favorite way of removing snow, besides moving to San Diego?
I used a RZR 900 for 6 years, upgraded to a 1000 this spring. No snow yet 🥲

agreed! i have a bunch of neighbors who use my drvway as n easment n refuse to help plow it! ME ppl suk!!!

I plow a private road here in New England with a CanAm Outlander 850. My road is paved and pretty level and has nice shoulders on the sides. I usually start by making a pass on either outer edge half on and half off the pavement. This gives me a place to put the snow without the road narrowing to much during the winter. I use a poly cutting edge, its kind to the pavement and is very quiet while plowing. If the snow is real heavy I make several passes from the outer edges working to the center. One year we had a foot of heavy snow and I started from the center and the ATV just couldn't push aside a couple pf passes so I had to mount the Boss plow to the tractor to get it done. Would rather just use the ATV.
I have a very large area around my house and shop to plow, plus a driveway that's about 1/4 mile long. Plowing with an ATV worked for a few years, but the amount of time it took made it a very cold project. I could easily spend an hour doing it all. My hands and feet would get very cold. in 2017 I upped my game and bought a plow for the Polaris Ranger I bought the year before, which has a heater and fully enclosed cab. WOOHOO! the heater will cook me out!

Those quick cuts and sped up action kicked in my epilepsy 6 times ....I blacked out twice.
Nice work, just installed a 52"x20" plow on my Scrambler 400 4x4, can t wait for our first real snow on S. Vancouver Island!

i now use an argo 6x6 n it sux!!! gets stuck non stop n shift lever is sideways which kills your wrist n shoulders, lookn for an atv now.....
Can't wait to watch you clean the road with a battery operated quad.
What size of bike is that?
