Do you prefer using a 4' level or a laser for picture hanging and alignment?

I just got one of those for a Mother’s Day gift which was great. Thank you very much for the video, it was very informative and taught me how to use it. 👍🙏😃

In the use cases you demonstrated I’m pretty sure I’d prefer to just use a tape measure and measure up from the floor.

Yes, that's one way of getting it straight. This laser is also handy on the wall along stairs, but I didn't show that.

Great idea, but I’ll wait for gen 2.

Self leveling would be a nice upgrade.

This is the 2Gen the first and original was sold at Home Depot in 2019 and was smaller in size.

I guess the problem is you're using a bubble level to determine the precision.

If you check all the brands of self leveling lasers, you'll see that they have a tolerance of accuracy that isn't 100%. I'd like to see this one self-leveling, but that would drive up the cost for a tool that I use occasionally.

If the actual laser light was more noticeable on the surface, yeah, I’d buy it.

Hey Jeremy, I have lots going on this week. I'll see if I can make it happen, but it may be next week.

I just bought this. It is a piece of garbage. Does not stick on my drywall at home and the laser goes about 1 foot

I like the concept of this. I've had good luck with it sticking on smooth drywall. Maybe they'll find a way for it to stick to textured walls in a gen2 model...

This is the 2Gen and was to have a better suction ability from my understanding that I got from a review on KZread. That was the only reason I bought it. Because I have the 1st gen but it came with a circular clothe to better latch on to a wall. It would have note worthy to show that on the package. Not made of texture painted walls.
