We do some extreme testing of the new MultiFuel stove. It may not be the most fuel efficient or fastest stove, but it will burn all kinds of fuel. With our video if you want to see more!

Versatility of this stove continues to shine. With Klean Strip Green denatured alcohol, 15ml if fuel under 2-cups of water in a Evernew ECA318 Ti 800 ml teapot will burn clean. Versatility comes in with a burner plate from the bottom of a Bustelo 10-oz coffee can placed on top of the Multi Fuel (inside of the can bottom on the stove) and a Sterno Inferno pot, the blue flames barely lick the outside edges. Handles on the Sterno pot are not hot. No soot on the burner plate. Nice! Additionally, the Bobcat Mini SST windscreen and the Multi Fuel 3.0 stove nest inside the teapot with the lid secure.

Oh man, that concoction has to be close to what I have here. Few years down the line the stove that gets used most is still that prototype with increased fuel capacity. There's no corrosion, no real wear outside of usual color change due to heat, nothing worrying. It had to see more than a thousand full burns already and it works like the day I got it. Thumbs up for making the stove easier to manufacture, it looks really great!! The flame pattern is awesome for wider pots, Nice thing to watch too. Thanks!

@@FlatCatGear Thanks! Been doing great! I lost a lot of weight, like 35 kg since April, started regular full time job, not much hiking due to foot surgery, but that's one more thing sorted out and it couldn't go any better. I'm planning some hikes this spring already, I'll hit my goal weight by then and I'll be more flexible in terms of diet than I was last season. How's going? Best wishes to you and yours! Cheers!

Any chance of it "going on sale"? At $32.50 in an emergency I'll use a pot that will take the abuse from soot & save money unless you have a special on them or a few that were " scratch n dent" or returns or even prototypes I bought and use your Bobcat Jr kit for my 600ml titanium mug/pot & the esbit burner which I haven't used yet but love the results so far If like to test out this burner when & if the price goes down...Thanks!

Pretty cool that it will run on multiple fuels. Not that you would want to, but what about white gas, gasoline, and diesel?

white gas, gasoline, and diesel? Only if you have a death wish! I made a passive white gas stove before, worked great, smelled bad.

I was thinking for emergencies only and because had a Coleman stove when I was a kid that also ran off of unleaded 👀

@@stevesummersell3068 IMO, if it is an emergency you don't worry about soot or efficency so basically an open can will work.

Norman Reeves: When you burn isopropyl alcohol, one of the artifacts is that you leave a small amount of residual water in the stove. If you have wicking material in the stove, it will become saturated withthe water and the stove will no longer function correctly.

I mainly sell cooking systems and not individual stoves. You will find it under the Shop tab under Individual Parts.

Well.......In relation to stove/camp stove multifuels almost ALWAYS refers to a stove using different fuel type individually, not a cocktail of fuels. I expect almost nobody would ever use a stove like this so this video really proves or shows nothing new. Notwithstanding in general it is a very good design.

Well, I have done many videos in the past showing the Multi-Fuel with each of the different fuels in the past. The advantage to this video is that it demonstrates how it handles fuel mixtures. Several customers in Eastern Europe use the stove and have discussed how some of their fuels are a hodgepodge of different fuels. Including ethanol mixed with turpentine or even gas.

@BennyCFD - With a 50/50 mixture of 15 ml of 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, and 15ml of Kleen Strip Denatured alcohol, I just completed a 22-minute burn with 30 ml of fuel. The design allows for experimentation of fuel cocktails to meet your specific needs. Iso has the higher BTU content, and the denatured alcohol tames the sootiness of the Iso until the last 30-seconds. The flame turns instantly yellow and that is when you pull the pot. I was using a cheap 7-inch, rather heavy anodized aluminum pan and lid, and was able to simmer for the last 10 minutes of the burn. So a 10-minute baking time could be met, after some 5-cheese bowtie macaroni. I was surprised and did not expect these results. I agree that almost anyone could step out of the box that we create for ourselves to experiment with a universal stove design (Jon has set up a remote feeder for this particular design). With experimentation, a rising tide raises all ships. The addition of denatured alcohol help mitigate breezes that cause the pure 91% Isopropyl alcohol to really soot up the bottom of the pot. We all stand on the shoulders of those who passed on their legacies to the fortunates who see plans within plans, based on previous experimentation's. With respect
